OCZ Cryo-Z just around the corner

Wow... Yeah, that would just be dumb if that were true. Maybe the block just needs a nice lap job!

I doubt it will be able to cope with quad... but thats just me guessing :P Oh and i'll believe it when i see it for sale... been waiting for years :(

They could've just fired it up. If you look at some other pics floating around, some clearly show negative temps.

yeah, as does my pelt at idle, -14 to be precise :p

its a shame coz i wanted to get this :(

look at the pic, it says +26C!!!! i dont think its all that powerful?

That's not a review, just a couple photos. They could have just fired it up like Wile E said. I would not take it into consideration. This thing was designed by Chilly1, have some faith :P

Plus you could always improve the unit with better refridgerants or heatexchangers.

im trying to have faith, coz i want me one of these!!! but its really not a great deal better than a good pelt setup, but id take this unit tho over my system since its all contained, and if there are more promising reviews, maybe ill get it for my next upgrade, coz im hoping for a phenom, but i wanna c how it goes on those chips, or on quads

is the fx57 single core? coz that makes a huge difference, coz ive had single cores on my pelt system go as low as -25C

Yes it is single core.

well... i wanna see a dually on that cooler, coz its gonna make a difference

Meh, just swap out the refrigerant, and you should be good to go. lol

Still, even if it only hit say 0c, it's still a hell of a deal for around $300. Once you factor in a power supply, a good pelt setup wouldn't really be any cheaper.

no thats true, but since i have no experience with phase, how would you change the refrigerent in it? coz for that price i wouldnt mind that unit, esp if i could get more out of it.

Theres no HX, its a single stage

Vaccuum the old out, fill it with what will work with the compressor. I bet r290 would do wonders.
