Phanteks today announced their new Revolt series of power supplies. Available in capacities of 850 W and 1000 W, th Revolt Pro are meant to deliver server stability and features with Phanteks' design and expertise. The Revolt Pro can be daisy-chained to provide a dual-PSU setup, thus saving users' money for higher wattage solutions - why do so when you can share the load over two PSUs? And let's not forget the state of the market for up to 2000 W power supplies...

Adding to the increased power delivery, the second PSU decreases the likelihood of data loss, since failure of one unit leaves the other being able to power your system (depending on workload, of course). Phanteks also says that the daisy-chained PSUs deliver the best power efficiency possible by consistently routing power through the most efficient routing at any given time.

Considering these PSUs are certified 80 Plus Gold with peak 92% efficiency at 50% load, this likely means that load-balancing will try to keep both PSUs (or a single one) around that power delivery percentage to maximize efficiency. The Revolt Pro PSUs come with a Phanteks commitment to longevity, due to their 12-year warranty, and also feature a fan-off mode with loads under 40%.

The Phanteks Revolt Pro Series are built in collaboration between Phanteks and Seasonic, featuring 105º Japanese capacitors, cable-free internal connectors and a purpose-built, Phanteks-patented PCB design, with modular cable connections. No word yet on pricing and availability at time of writing.

Yea right Phanteks, tell us another bedtime story. And add the term “mission-critical” to support your marketing bs.

I love stuff like this. I like their splitter and combo product too. I'm planning to use the combo with SFX PSUs for my DIY whitebox builds just for the heck of it. I love stuff like seems lile a solution looking for a problem (although that's not the exact issue here I think). I know 90% of users, even enthusiasts will not bother but still, I appreciate these kinds of products.

I would like someone to make a review for these power supplies :)

it's a seasonic focus plus gold internal ( i would expect the exact same performance as it looks identical) with a deeper case (both from the picture and the spec sheet). I wonder if phanteks thinks more room will add two years tot he warranty?

I'd put my bet on jonnyguru. The best PSU review site still.
