CORSAIR , a world leader in PC gaming peripherals and enthusiast components, today announced compatibility with the Microsoft Xbox One for CORSAIR wired and wireless keyboards and mice, following Microsoft's recent announcement of expanded peripheral support for the console. Now, players can take advantage of CORSAIR's award-winning gaming peripherals to play keyboard and mouse-enabled games on a whole new platform-Xbox One.

With the console's new compatibility with keyboards and mice, developers can now choose to add support for those devices to their games. The first announced Xbox One game titles to receive peripheral support include Fortnite, Warframe, and Minecraft, with many more games planned for future compatibility. Microsoft is focused on working with developers to ensure that these games are fun, fair, and properly balanced no matter how players decide to control them.

CORSAIR is proud to be Microsoft's newest Xbox licensed hardware partner and is excited that the Xbox One team has opened up support for keyboards and mice. Xbox One players now have at their disposal the same precision and reliability that PC gamers have enjoyed from CORSAIR peripherals for years. CORSAIR is working to ensure a great experience on Xbox One and looks forward to collaborating with the Xbox team to deliver even more compatible peripherals in the future.

In addition to partnering with the Xbox team, CORSAIR is committed to working more closely with Microsoft on numerous other initiatives including Mixer, Microsoft's next-generation interactive livestreaming service. Through Elgato, CORSAIR's subsidiary brand for content creators, Mixer broadcasters will be empowered to improve their streams through integration with the powerful and versatile Elgato Stream Deck, along with other exciting initiatives currently in development.

I cant play fps games with a pad feels unnatural. That setup would almost be like cheating lol.

Rip controller users, more keyboard and mouse players floating around there means it's going to get harder for them lol.

I've read that people who play on KB+M will only paired with KB+M. I hope MS/devs only implements that on competitive multiplayer games. Co-op games shouldn't really matter what input you use as long as both sides can have fun.

Not like you can't have fun with KB+M and gamepad with competitive games, but most people are too competitive I suppose.

All these peripherals emulate the analogue sticks. In other words, the precision will be the same.

You're missing the bigger picture here. We now basically have reinvented the PC. Only this time it's not open to anyone for tinkering!

It does not emulate anything xbox one runs on windows 10 core so it will be same HID drivers like in PC so yeah controller users will be demolished by keyb+mouse combo.

smells like some fishy green colored paper being floated around somewhere here...probably from M$ to Corsair, since they have deeper pockets, and are willing to spend big $$ and/or do whateva is necessary to add more hardware partners to their realm, just so they can capture more of the console market....

greedy friggin bastardly skanks they are :)

I've been using a keyboard and mouse since last summer or so, although for only the GUI and Minecraft with my little brother

Never mind I was thinking of existing peripherals, those do work like and have been around for ages that but this appears to be a native feature now that has to be added in. So don't mark the grave of controller players just yet.

Actual retarded comment

Not a very nice way of putting it I must say but thanks, I'm always looking forward to block and report people.

Read again @Vya Domus I said it's only going to get more harder with more companies allowing keyboard and mouse on a console, next time actually read a post before quoting it and using hyberbole alongside it, of course it's not the "end" of controllers but it's a move towards allowing more peripherals on consoles.
