EA Officially Announces Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn Remaster - No Microtransactions

As long as I don't have to be logged into some EA thing or always connected to the internet, then I'm grabbing these. I still have my old disc cases too!

I remember playing one of these. Red Alert's Tanya was my favorite unit. Was good for sabotaging buildings.

I really hope they keep the same gameplay style. Yeah, the graphics can be upped for 4K, but for fk sake keep the same gameplay.

This is so epic... I played HOURS and HOURS of these games when I was a child. I will relive years of my childhood if I can play this again in all of the glory they were and love them all over in a even better remastered copy.

PLEASE DON'T KILL THE REMASTER PLEASE!

Battlefield 2 and 2142 remasters when?

This has the potential for awesomeness!

Note to EA;

GOG, Steam. Emphesis on GOG. Not buying otherwise! Thank You.

People have been wishing that since BF3 release, and that's 7 years ago.
Origin is not going away anytime soon. That's something you have to accept.
If 'not buying otherwise' is your ultimatum, then you might as well stop reading or replying to any topics related to EA games, because you won't be playing any of them anyway.

That's not true, EA has been and continues to release games on GOG. Granted, they are older titles. You never know, if enough of us tell them we're tired of the ineffective and completely worthless DRM, they might decide to stop treating gamers like thieves and accept that pirates are going to pirate and nothing will stop them, but the rest of us honest people will happily pay for our games. EA's Origin client sucks. Lot's of people will not use it because of the constant problems and glitches. Steam works better all day long. GOG always works because there is no DRM. That is how I and many others play games. Our way, when we want, how we want.

Old titles aren't the point of my argument. The main factor here is Origin which was established in 2011, any games released before that are moot. I never have problem with Origin so far, meanwhile Steam still gives me problems every now and then. But it seems you already made up your mind that everything EA does is evil, so I won't try to convince you. I'll just enjoy the games I want to play while you keep whining and begging to have those games on your beloved platform, but try to keep it to a minimum on webboard discussing games, okay? It's annoying for people who have no issue with whatever platform the game is on. If you want change that much go sign a petition or something instead. Good luck.
