After some leaks indicated that GIGABYTE was preparing a blower-style RTX 2080 Ti, the company has now officially unveiled it. The GIGABYTE AORUS Turbo RTX 2080 Ti feature a blower-style cooler with vapor-chamber, direct-touch technology trying to keep that monstrous, 754 mm² TU102 chip cool and quiet. Luckily, the chip is relatively power efficient, so the acoustic and thermal performance should be sufficient.

The GIGABYTE AORUS Turbo RTX 2080 Ti features a 1650 MHz core clock, and the other specs line up with what we've become used to with RTX 2080 Ti graphics cards (11 GB of GDDR6 memory at 14000 MHz). There's the typical 3x DisplayPort, 1x HDMI, and 1x USB Type-C for VirtuaLink. Expect this version of the RTX 2080 Ti to be near the bottom rung in terms of pricing, when it's available.

This card sucks and blows.

I'll see myself out

Old school, noisy&cheaper.

Blower Style?? Hahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahhaahahha

If the price is lower, and has the Aorus PCB, then this is the best candidate for liquid cooling.

There would be far cheaper candidates that are just as good, the all copper heatsink will add a lot to the price tag.

This is more for people who need rear exhaust, and want the best performance/cooling/silence possible in that scenario.

This is an excellent point. I don't do liquid cooling these days, but I would be looking at this angle if I was.

I just wish they would ship the 1080Ti Waterforce edition. I have the 1080Ti one which is great, but the new one is a 240 radiator for double the cooling. The card has been solid with a good over clock, so I want to purchase the 2080Ti one, but so far can't find it at the egg. Same for the Inno3d iChill one, not to be found and its a 240 as well.

I would like to see a review.

The ASUS Turbo unfortunately didnt manage to perform like an FE Nvidia cooler. A lot noisier, at the same temperature. I am curious if gigabyte managed to build it well.

That tiny heatsink is going to saturate so fast.
