The former PS4 exclusives Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human have had announcement dates for their releases on the PC platform. The games, developed by Quantic Dream for the PlayStation platform, are considered some of the best in terms of narrative-focused, visual storytelling experiences in the industry, and have previously been locked behind platform exclusivity that meant Xbox and PC players were being left in the cold regarding these titles.

Heavy Rain will see its release on June 24th for the PC platform, closely followed by Beyond: Two Souls on July 27th - a month difference so gamers can get them across at least two different paychecks. Detroit: become Human will be released in the Fall of 2019, though at an unspecified date (so far). The games will be Epic Games Store exclusives, and free demos will be made available for all titles. A trailer has been released for these demos, which you can catch after the break.

I agree with you, but either is paid for exclusivity.

Indeed; there isn't competition when something is exclusive to only one store. I don't know why people find this concept so hard to understand.

If the game titles were made available to both stores at the same time, the best store with better pricing would win the customer, simple.

Steam competitors have done that before and the sheeps kept flocking back to Steam. All of these things considered are what led to the aggressive moves by Epic.

Well done Epic store, more games for everyone. Let fanboys cry.

How is it more games for everyone if they are exclusive to Epic or released on multiple stores, same amount of games in my mind.. limiting the games potential as some people have issues with Epic store and launcher and won't use it because of that, nothing to do with being a fanboy, but hey let them keep gobbling up exclusives on their immature feature lacking store and see what happens, they can't keep throwing money around without developing their own platform before they realise it's wasted money in the long term, still won't make me look at them again until they have a compartive feature set and as stable as other stores, no fanboyism there.

I would understand all of your point of views if Steam didn´t have exclusives since day 1 aswell, even games that are not made by valve. So please stop with this blind hate. We have store exclusives for years now, Epic is just another one. As long as I don´t pay more for games because of it, I honestly don´t care, since I have 7 launchers installed anyway. 1 more doesn´t hurt.

Nothing worth lost here for the exclusivity. It's better to watch videos from you favorite streamer and revel in David Cage's passion for tropes and "tributes" to other better creations. I did with Detroit and it was far more enjoyable than playing the game.

Wow never thought I'd get to play Detroit: Becomes Human on PC ever. Watched TheBradRad's playthrough on youtube and was hooked after about 10 minutes and then p!ssed it was PS4 only. I don't care it's not on STEAM, sick of them gouging us down under.

Those games are really great story wise. Good news.

Same. I don't care that it's EPIC exclusive. I'm ok with such exclusives that we would have not got otherwise.
What i don't like is game changing from Steam to EPIC prior to launch having previously promised Steam.

Very exited to play all 3 eventually.

It's great that these games, especially Detroit, see the light of day on the PC.

Fortunately, I already played it on my PS4 Pro and I can say that it was one of the best narrative experiences I've played until today!

It´s a shame that some people instead of focusing on how good it is to finally have these games on PC, rather choose to distill hate against EGS.

here for the story and sp experience, market politics need not apply
