Today at E3 2019, CD Project Red revealed their cinematic trailer for the upcoming game called Cyberpunk 2077. The game shows off incredible graphics with tons of neon lighting and overall the feel of what a Cyberpunk game is - plenty of action with awesome graphic details. But in the trailer, the new star of the show appears. The man himself - Keanu Reeves. He stars as a badass character with metal arm and the charisma of John Wick. Something definitely to be excited about. In the game, Keanu becomes Johnny Silverhand, a new Silverhand character that first appeared in Cyberpunk 2020. He greets you with: "Wake the fuck up, samurai. We have a city to burn." message.

Cyberpunk 2077 will launch on April 16th, 2020 and will be available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The game will cost $59.99 for the standard edition and $249.99 for "Collector's Edition" which includes many items such as the physical statue of V, hardcover art book, metal key chain and more. You can pre-order the game here.

John Wick!!

John Wick 4.0

I hope Keanu it's part of the main story till the end and not just as a DLC or some side mission.

if Reeves is playing as Johnny Silverhand, it's obvious his character will be part of the story...

"obvious" ?? Excuse -me; I don't have the game's script nor do I have any ideea about any of the protagonists....

Inb4 blue or red pill references.

I just mentally pre-ordered this one.

Just buy it on gog.com so 100% money go to CD Projekt RED :D

It’s a pretty big part. The professionals that they are, CDPR have done a lot of research into the lore, just like they did with the Witcher series.

Getting DX:HR vibes from this, add CD Projekt as the developer and Keanu in it, even if just for a few appearances, and this shapes up to be another home run from them.

Bloodlines 2 in March and 2077 in April.

This game and Squadron 42 are the games I am most looking forward to. CDPR said a while back that they even have more people working on this game than they did on The Witcher 3. It should be huge with a lot of content.

Thanks. I had no ideea the game has a "lore". Any books or comics out there, or is just the lore from CP2022?

There’s alot. It depends on how deep you want to go.

The next one pertains to how they have adapted to 2077 setting and story.

I've seen the trailer. Damn it can be a really good game :) Looking forward for the release :D

@Prima.Vera if you want to spend money first hand, you can get a lot of the original game material for the tabletop RPG on eBay.

So perusing the Cyberpunk 2077 forums on Steam I came upon something that shocked me. There is a person on there who was concerned it would be Epic exclusive. Someone else informed him that since GOG is owned by the same company that owns CDPR (CD Projekt Group), that no, that would never happen, since they get all the income if on GOG (of course it will also be on Steam for the wider audience reach, despite the lesser amount of income per game.

His response was this: "well yeah, i actually never heard about GOG but i just at first thought its gonna be epic exclusive because i didnt notice it on steam "

This guy has been a gamer awhile, and owns over 120 games, and he never...heard...of...GOG. :wtf:

Even if you don't use them, people in nearly every game forum there talk about GOG and getting the game (whatever game) on GOG. How does someone know nothing about any game store existing other than Steam and Epic? Really? What a closed world some live in I guess.

Seems to me GOG needs to advertise more, too.

They really do. Exposure is important and GOG needs to do more of it.

EDIT; I just re-read that and realized how dirty is sounds.. Did not intend it that way.. :peace:

Anyway, I remembered a trailer from 6 years ago, went looking for and found it;
And now we have the GPU power to push those graphics..
