NVIDIA to Unveil GeForce RTX SUPER Lineup on July 2nd

Glad I am not a 2070 user.
That 2060 super is really touching the nerves.

That's just super, an extra 5 fps across the board.

i will wait for their "ultra rekt platinum" lineup. :rockout:

After Super Comes Turbo.

Super Nvidia with its Super Turing cards for a SUPER price :) the last one not necessarily means low price which I think is obvious :)

I don't know about these rumors about extra memory. Turing had problems with production early on and those problems were presumably fixed. SUPER are most likely just higher-clocked versions of the existing cards thanks to some maturity of the process. Broadening the memory bus is a fairly major change and those resources are most likely being put towards NVIDIA's 7 nm products, not updating 12 nm products.

Think Radeon R9 290 -> R9 390.
Just look at the leaked specs: 2060 Super isn't TU106-200 anymore, it's TU106-410, a derivative of the TU106-200 that powers the plain 2070.
Reading is cool ;)

"Ti"?
"Super"?
nVidia confirmed to be Alfa Romeo in the IT world!
Expecting the GTX 2080 Quadrifoglio, GTX 2060 Imola and the TITAN Turbodelta now :D

Right. If they sell the 1060 3GB and 1060 6GB under the same moniker, they catch (deserved, imho) flak. If they use different names, that's also not good.
I hope you do understand as a GPU maker you need to sell as many chips, for as much as possible. In order to do that, you have to have more than 3 chips out there.

I'm sure you know this but some don't. The 1060 3GB not only had less VRAM but it had 11% less cores than the 1060 6GB. For a long time game Developers were simply listing a 1060 as minimum specs for their game but not identifying which 1060. Why in the world Nvidia didn't name the 1060 6GB as a 1060 Ti is beyond me.

This "Super" scheme isn't new.. just the "Super" lame name. They did this with GTX 260 192 and 216. This time it looks like they gave the whole product line that treatment, and a bump in ram.

Edit: I suppose you can throw in the GTS 8800 320 and 640..

Yields will play those jokes on you, what can you do?

Still rocking a GTX 970... Nvidia fuck you in you're stupid asses..
What happened to mid-range..

May buy Navi, if the wattage isn't too high.. Hoping for the best.

You complain about RTX prices, but you will buy equally expensive Navi?

If you want to show your displeasure with the prices, don´t buy any! That's what most do.

Complain about Nvidia and go buy AMD just as expensive, does not make sense.

In the sense that "Ti" and "Super" were also monikers used by Alfa Romeo in their cars to designate higher performance variants.
I know abut that last part, it has been like that since market segments were created to sell different yields of chips, uArch refinements or lithography improvements.

He's also ignoring the 1660 and 1660Ti. No need to feed him further.

Came here for the comments, leaving because of the comments. It's really sad what this site has become.

Now those are just expensive, they don't even have the die size of the RTX cards.

They're $200-250 where traditional mid-range has always stood.

That's why i haven't bought anything. Waiting to see what price/perf of 5700/5800/5900 line up has to offer. Otherwise.
I might just look for a used GTX980 or something similar in perf.
