PATRIOT and Viper Gaming, a global leader in performance memory, SSDs, gaming peripherals, and flash storage solutions, announced the release of a new addition to their Viper 4 series line today. The Viper 4 DDR4 Blackout series is designed to be a PC-Build-friendly with a potential for overclocking and more extensive compatibility across various Intel and AMD platforms. The whole new matte-black heat spreader design covers a high-quality black PCB and offers a stylishly understated memory kit designed for PC enthusiasts, modders, and system builders. The Viper 4 Blackout series is available in frequencies of 3000 MHz up to 4000 MHz and is fully compatible with the latest 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen Desktop Processors and AMD X570 motherboards.

The all-black color theme matches any high-end system component from motherboards and graphics cards down to gaming cases and system coolers. The Viper Gaming team was inspired to create this highly tweakable memory kit in a sleek and stylish matte black aluminum heat spreader, and 100% compatible with current JEDEC memory standards.

"Patriot Viper 4 Blackout series DDR4 computer memory is positioned to offer exceptional performance on the latest 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen Desktop Processors and AM4 platform. It can blend with the current all-black trend and allow builders to have more theme-consistent choices when modifying their PC," said Roger Shinmoto, the Vice President of Patriot and Viper Gaming. Besides, the Viper 4 Blackout series DDR4 computer memory built with best-quality components on a 10-layer black PCB to guarantee excellent signal integrity for ultra-stability.

The Patriot Viper 4 Blackout series is backed by a limited lifetime warranty and is available in frequencies from 3000 MHz up to 4000 MHz, and dual-channel 8 GB and 16 GB kits

nice looking for an all black build, but tsk tsk tsk....betta make sure your cooler will clear those tall-ish sinks...... or that you use AIO/water cooling :)

Those sinks are just screwed in at the top you could pop those toppers off :)

No 2x16GB or 1x16GB - bad. Fortunately viper 4 series had such sticks (up to 3200MHz) in the past and they are still available in shops.

Their MSRP isn't attractive at all, since their Viper steel modules are cheaper and offer the same timings.

No, Patriot, thanks ! You send Ss B-die to reviews and Hynix to the market !
Like Steel 3200-3733, Viper 3733, RGB 3200.... Only 3866-> is Ss B-die .

.

I had hoped for tighter timings at 3600.

They do look gorgeous, though. Time to shoot them a message to ask nicely for a set. :D

Definitely handsome! No RGB , just nice low key RAM.

XMP timings for rated XMP speed
For the 3200MHz 2x8GB (16GB) kit Tested Timings: 16-18-18-36
For the 3600MHz 2x8GB (16GB) kit Tested Timings: 17-19-19-39
For the 4000MHz 2x8GB (16gb) kit Tested Timings: 19-21-21-41
