Socket hasn't changed so you can say the same thing for every other cooler brand.

This is crazy talk no?
How is this even possible?

Socket and TDPs haven't changed, so yeah, a real shocker there...

This sounds like a marketing scheme. Can't find anything else here.

Yea um, you don’t need internal company certifications for a socket that has already been out.

there are people less familiar with PCs who will be reassured to buy something with these PR releases/pages. there are no PC experts who might be looking for cooling and these are reassuring them that these products will work

I highly doubt that. If you're knowledgeable enough to look for aftermarket cooling, you're knowledgeable enough to check for socket compatibility.

Simplified version:
"Our products still work"
- Thermaltake

Whoa there, this is Thermaltake!
In order to claim the product still works, it had to be working originally - and that is never a guarantee for Thermaltake.

Very true. I just couldn't quite figure out how to make that into a sufficiently snarky yet still simple and snappy comment. It's not an easy balance to maintain, sadly. Damn you, Thermaltake, for making our lives so difficult!
