Gearbox Reveals Minimum, Recommended Specs for Borderlands 3

It's been 7 long years.

Played BL2 with a 3770K M5E and a ASUS AMD 6870 with Direct CU and triple heat pipes.

Thought that passive backplate was just the bees knees. :D

Just need to pick up a new video card and Wait, there's no Axton? No turret?

Good riddance I hated every bit of that turret, so much i never played him :D
I would rather play Gaige 3 times...

The thing with epyc for me is that every one of my virtual friends is boycotting it, we all gonna play pirate edition first, no point going epyc without company or a solid community...

I always played BL2 solo, so the turret was like having a teammate. Poor me.

yeah, turret worked ok until Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode. guess i'll find out in April, too!

If you really like a game you'll buy the following one without much hesitation. I know I'm buying it on release.

Yeah but the company is no CDPR, by a long shot. So yes and no.

Epic is approaching EA's territory in terms of fxxking things up.
Why all the publishers did a "timed exclusive" deal ?
Ofc the Fornite money is juicy, but nobody trust Epic for the whole life span of their products.

Well it is Epic store exclusive and, this limits the customer choice, also atleast for me another downside is payment is only in $ US. So i have to pay good amount of coversion fees to my bank over and above the price of the game. Steam on the other hand accepts local currency and is one click buy, also the games tend to be cheaper than their US counter offer for being in local currency. So no buy on Epic store for me too.

AMD sponsored title yet it requires better AMD hardware to run it compared to the competition?

The standard edition here in Germany is costing 59.99€ but this is the price usually lot of game launch at here.

I usually waite a month or two until after launch date to buy such games for PC platform.
The price usually goes down by then.

Of course special pre-order exclusives are missed then but many times these exclusives are not that much worth for me anyways. :p

For Metro Exodus I paid 35€ 2 months after launch.

I won't be fooled by these humble specs. Borderlands games have always been known for performance issues.
My 1080ti drops to 20fps when cranking up Physx to medium or high in BL Pre-Sequel, which is disappointing since many modern FPS games that look way better than BLPS don't have such issue.

Unless Gearbox promises to use a completely new engine in BL3, the problem is likely to repeat itself. Frankly from BL3 trailers I see very little changes or upgrades from the previous games, graphic-wise.

BL 3 is running on Unreal Engine 4 while the previous games ran on UE 3.

Biggest performance issue came from the game not utlizing CPU cores properly and mainly running off 1 core.
Physx 'as a setting' is gone from the game at least based on their settings menu, which his good imo cause that thing was nothing but a badly implemented resource hog. 'did look pretty cool tho'

If they fixed the multi threaded support then it shouldn't be bad, what I'm not sure about is the GPU side of things cause UE 4 can be rather GPU heavy once a lot of particle effects, etc are on the screen like Darksiders 3 for example.

the one sp game I have been looking forward to...let it not be crap plz gbx

After 1,500+ hours in Borderlands 1 and 2, I'm skipping 3 until it moves to other distribution platforms. I can't and won't support PC exclusives regardless of the game.
im getting the codex edition then the steam simples
