You definitely need an upgrade. A full upgrade. It all depends how much money you have and where are you from. Hardware prices in the USA will be obviously a lot cheaper than in the EU.

There are a lot options, so I would suggest this combo:

* AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or Ryzen 3 2200G, box (with cooler)
* Cheapest B350M Motherboard (with preinstalled latest BIOS) or B450M (better option) - MSI, Gigabyte, Asus, Asrock, Biostar
* Single stick of 8 GB DDR4 2400 or 2666 RAM - G.Skill, ADATA, Team, Kingston HyperX
* used GPU like Radeon R9 380 4 GB, R9 380X 4 GB, RX 470 4 GB from Sapphire, MSI, Gigabyte, Asus, XFX etc.- whichever you find cheaper
* Coolermaster MVE 550W or FSP Hydro 600W PSU (they are very good PSU's and aren't that expensive, both 80 Plus Bronze)

As im running with asus gtx 1050 ti oc expedition as it the one of the esport version which has the boost of 1455mhz also it dont have the pcie power slot only paid €100 for it lol

I have a lidless Ryzen 1200. It's pretty good about 40-50% faster than the OP's Intel G3258 and would make for a decent upgrade now. Then on the B450 Mobo option could upgrade later to Ryzen 3000 series chips and would hold him off for quite a long time.
Like your suggestions better than mine!! lol.

Seriously? Did you even read his post? Did you even read my response? Have you even read all the other members comments? Is the ryzen comment because you are a fanboy and once you loose an argument just go to throwing a fit and insults? I mean, does intel offer a cheap apu solution that can play everything he listed he likes to play, no they dont. if they did than that is what would have been suggested. You suggested he dump 190 dollars in a proc alone without even considering the rest of the system. He still then has the problem with the gpu being to out of date to play the games he wants and we dont even no if its broken or something else is wrong with the system. a sudden black screen and then having to hard reset the pc are most commonly a resault from bad drivers, gpu or psu. its not limited to these 3 but they are the most common cause for what he is describing. you really should go take acouple classes at the local community college on this stuff. also do some price searching before making a suggestion.

Sorry, but you threw the stone first. if you cant take the heat then leave. you clearly have no idea how to diagnose a pc or missed your meds. i suggest you dont let the door hit you on the way out.

Sounds like a faulty GPU to me as well. 1050ti (or faster/AMD equivalent) will make it feel like an all new PC, and a CPU upgrade for that motherboard sounds like a great idea too

the point here is that not many people cant afford to spend money on the pc when it having a issue only way is fix it to narrow down what is the cause but please dont force somebody to upgrade something then again i could point out it could be a nvidia driver problem where it crashing sometimes causing the monitor to go to sleep i had to fix the regedit for the graphic card in my system to stop it from doing the error 4101. As it could be as simple as that is my guess

my monitor only goes to sleep by itself when i play games and screen recording... oh yeah, usually when i restart my pc after it crashes.. it would show some kind of error with my gpu ( "nvidia driver crashed/stopped working")...but that doesn't happen now. the error message don't show up so i don't know what to do

yep i know the feeling i had the same problem before nonstop it turned out it was the simple fix is to add three registry fixes that solved all my problems i can give you the guide if you want

Simply go to your registry: Start --> Run --> Type in "Regedit"

Go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers" and create a key of type "DWORD (32-bit)" and name "TdrDelay" with a value of 60 as Decimal value.

create a key of type "DWORD (32-bit)" and name "TdrLevel" with a value of 0 as Decimal value.

Then exit regedit and reboot

I dont know if anybody already suggested. But. I recommend removing the gpu and plug your monitor in the onboard VGA OR HDMI connection. Then if it is working, then you know its the gpu. If no money for buying a new computer, get some used 750ti or 950ti or whichever you can buy. make sure not the one that requires power connections.

correct me if I am wrong but the G3258 is overclockable. Dual core 4 threads? that is still ok for old games.

But then again, dont expect that it will last you a year or two.

Thats my honest opinion if budget is huge concern

'nvidia driver crashed and recovered ' is rarely caused by actual driver bugs (last i recall was 8800GTX at launch, that was shite) and usually caused by an unstable system (memory OC is a common cause) or most commonly, by a dying GPU

Doubt it's a GPU dying unless it's in a hostile environment. I have GPUs that are AGP and still work and where used daily at some point by someone.
Most GPUs that die are from OC abuse.
He could just need to update the driver for all we know. No idea the condition of any this hardware.

Guys, i'm a tech hoarder. I have boxes upon boxes of CPUs, GPUs and assorted hardware around. One of my friends worked at a recovery yard for recycling and he'd bring all the PC hardware to me for testing and repairs.

Just because you yourself have never seen hardware fail doesn't mean it can't happen - even if its one in a million, someone, somewhere has that millionth GPU that died.

Ever seen a PC crash with a BSOD because the compressor in a bar fridge caused a power surge that crashed an xbox controller that crashed the driver that crashed windows? I have. That one was hilarious once we figured it out, the controlled worked in other houses just fine, but in that house with that fridge it'd BSOD any PC it was connected to.

I didn't say the card Did not fail, I said I doubt that it failed (dying), nothing more.
I've killed many of hardware Mr. Definitely not new to the game. I delid my soldered processors. I've killed 2 maybe 3 from that. That's more times than I've baked Chips from overclocking LN2 and 2 volts and up.

Again, could be as simple as the cable is shot. Would do some testing before jumping the gun on a supposed dying gpu. lol
