Just checked, my ASUS X470 Prime is also has the 3950X on the supported list, supported from a several months old software version.
Checked the list on every other week and now it's appeared.

Looks like it is really coming out soon

It won't instantly either. But given any kind of heavy load ... eh. 6 months maybe.
