AMD today re-released Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition with the same version number, 19.12.2 WHQL. The drivers add support for the Radeon RX 5500 XT retail desktop graphics card launched today. The rest of its feature-set is identical to that of the 19.12.2 drivers, which debut with a new installer, 20 new or improved features, and the all-encompassing new Radeon Software app. We are awaiting a change-log from AMD to see if anything else has changed (think fixes to glaring bugs from the original driver's release), and will update this post accordingly.

Didn't have to wait long did we. I'm not about to guinea pig this one though, what a let down the last release was.

Why wasn't this part of the original release?

I have a 5700XT and since installing the new drivers, Epic Games launcher constantly crashes and its graphical interface is so messed up now I can't even use it....anyone else having problems?

No, but I use Nvidia. :P

I have the new driver in my system with a Vega64 GPU, no issue thus far. Issues such ahardlocks and freezing in games occurred only when I messed with undervolting and OC'ing, I recall only messing with some image tweaks like enabling RIS and Radeon Boost. I played Metro Exodus (one of my EGS games) and it's just fine.

Had to roll back to the old version. Games would constantly lock up when first loading and movement of the mouse. Often times when trying to load up the Radeon settings, it would say there is no driver installed. After just installing it. Such a crap driver.

Stop whining! They gave us WEB BROWSER in a DRIVER! To be perfect it yet only needs an integrated media player so I can listen to my fav music or watch my fav shows while playing. Hmm facebook messenger would be great too. What about "Radeon Store" where we could install apps to a driver? Fishtank screen blanker app for example so you can relax while camping. Or kitten face app which turns every face texture into a sweet kitten? Possibilities are limitless...
