Limited Edition Cyberpunk 2077 NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti Sells at Auction for $5200

Smexy card. You have to have this kind of pampering. It's a very very expected title launch, so there has to be some bling around it...a bit of lounge events, cosplay, fan art, merchandise, may be even some inspired clothing as it was with Deus Ex. Ohh the art book will be a killer probably. I never got my hands on Homeworld Remastered artbook and it looks fantastic by the look of it.

....how is this possible? I can see movie memorabilia, comic books, autographs and sports cards because they're tied to living people and even the average joe will know about them. Cyberpunk must be way bigger than i thought or is it just that old Nvdia magic/madness and us nerds seeking the ultimate epeen again.

5200$.... damn...

I'd rather have the dark side edition... Star Wars will always have a place... How long until Cyberpunk hits the Cyberbin?

Yeah, a lot of people think Star Wars is lame now too.

Rich people don't care about $5,000 when they have millions or billions.

And people think there isn't a market for expensive cards...

Neat, 20 years from now I'll see it somebody's glass case and think wow you had money and you got this while hardly used it?

I suppose if you ran it for 20,000 hr's of play and placed it in that glass case just as you took it out, all used and somewhat dirty "battle worn". It would be cool like that seeing the price you paid and use you got offered sentimental value. While at some point that might translate to a collector that considers its was used by some well know player 20 years ago and used during his time and won tournaments with it! Really if it's ever going to be some of value it will need actual pedigree, but even then it's not like your going to go "vintage gaming" with it.

"...133 of which were available to purchase at a price of $1,100..."

I don't think any of the cards were available for purchase. i'd guess those 133 cards were gifts to Nvidia staff or partners.

I refuse to acknowledge the Di$ney era. :nutkick:

Can't be as bad as the dude that bought a banana duct tape to a wall.
