GELID Announces Black Diamond Case

Tech innovator GELID Solutions launches the BLACK DIAMOND - the latest Mid-Tower ATX gaming PC case. The BLACK DIAMOND is a product of GELID Solution GAMER product line.

The BLACK DIAMOND is created by gamers and for gamers. It features tempered glass bezel and side panels, enhanced cooling, robust chassis and versatile internal layout to accommodate top-performance components with extended clearance for the latest GPU, high-power PSU and high-class CPU Cooler. The BLACK DIAMOND also supports direct front vents to improve airflow inside the case and full-fledged water cooling with front, top or rear radiator mounts fitting up to a 360 mm radiator and 3 optional 120 mm fans. For ever growing storage assets, it boasts multiple storage options with 2x 3.5" HDD and 2x 2.5" SSD drive bays. And especially, a set of USB ports and HD Audio/Mic outputs are located on the top panel to facilitate connection of gaming headsets and other peripherals.

Not seeing any innovation there.
The T.G. side is held on by 4 thumbscrews which are a PITA to remove and replace and the rest is just average build quality as seen on the majority of cases.

I guess the biggest plus is you don't get a front panel that is hermetically sealed.

86 eur though... damn. That is some expensive airflow. Isn't this more of a 65-70 dollar case? (because TG, otherwise easily 40-50)

Mostly s/o/s/s boring, but at least the glass front won't choke off the airflow like most other designs....otherwise meh...

oh yea - cats and curious 3.75year olds, but other than that.

Just use the "screen door technique", they can still oogle, but they stay out of your office space and away from your hardware. lol (unless supervised)

As an added bonus, the screen door technique also keeps out bunnies.

Also, not everyone has a screen door into their office - talk about unique and a conversation starter. lol
