Antec, a leading provider of high-performance computer components and accessories for the gaming, PC upgrade and Do-It-Yourself market, broadens its range of memory with the new Katana DDR4 Memory. Inspired by the Japanese Samurai sword and its blade, the Antec Katana features a soft silhouette with metallic shine and lighting, adding extra style to the dream builds. "With our Katana memory modules, Antec aims at enthusiasts buying their stylish gaming cases and looking to add stylish designed components by the same brand", explains Eric Chen, Vice President at Antec. "Katana shows off a metallic shine on the silver lighting bar, while, lit up, Katana glows with soft and harmonious light effects."

The distinctive aluminium heatsink offers excellent thermal conductivity to ensure great cooling performance even during overclocking. Katana provides extensive freedom of customization with a vast array of modes and ARGB functions via motherboard synchronization.

Antec was a winner of 2019 iF DESIGN AWARD, a world-renowned design prize. The winning product, KATANA, won in the discipline product, in the Gaming Hardware/VR category. Each year, the world's oldest independent design organization, Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, organizes the iF DESIGN AWARD.

Antec memory isnt rated high enough to be on my radar. Good to see they are still trying.

Anyone knows the chip manufacturer? Timings seem a bit loose but maybe they can be tightened depending on the maker.

A fine addition to my weaboo build, right next to the anime figures on my GPU.

Jokes aside that RAM looks really good lol. Just wish it had tighter timings. I hope Antec continues this product line and sells higher performing kits in the future.

I cringed so hard when i read this. Antec trying to put two things together that honestly have no business even being in the same sentence then trying to make it sound like some sort of epic orientally inspired poem or Haiku. Im surprised the moon wasnt mentioned. Because East Asian countries always like to have festivals and other shit about the moon.

Its as romantic as Morgan Freeman talking about flies circling a steaming turd fresh dispensed from a cows anus.

What RAM is this really? Antec are just buying from an OEM and sticking their label on the heatspreaders. They own no PCB/SMT assembly facilities so this cannot possibly be anything other than a sticker-job.
