AMD "Renoir" Desktop APU Could Lack PCIe gen 4.0, Hints BIOSTAR B550 Motherboard Product Page

Seems like Asrock's mobos don't support Picasso, but...
AMD Ryzen series CPUs (Matisse)
- 2 x PCI Express x16 Slots (PCIE1: Gen4x16 mode; PCIE3: Gen3 x4 mode)*
AMD Ryzen series APUs (Renoir)
- 2 x PCI Express x16 Slots (PCIE1: Gen3x16 mode; PCIE3: Gen3 x4 mode)*

Nice logic there. "What you do is not 100% the same as me, ergo, your facts are useless".
Yes bring it.

So I fold and crunch but I don't assume that anyone asking advice needs good performance on those, and they're less of a niche.

The fact is your making it perspective and personal based.

I'd argue neither of our perspective are aligned with the majority, I am just aware enthusiasts are not the be all and end all or that my workload is not the same as others.

Cos emulator's are massive eh.

Hm, that's odd. Maybe the x8 block on mobile renoir is actually a half-disabled x16 controller to save power or some such?
