Not for me. I'll just buy a $75 case, open it up the sides and upgrade my choices on a better CPU, Video Card or more Ram.

I can place an MB and some parts in open air and get great temps too. Noise level? You have no influence on it.

Basically if you want a case without some useful characteristics of a case (noise dampening and dust control), this is a great find. But I reckon most people do, and a lot of the people who don't, simply don't know it yet.

But, as far as open (Maybe 'naked' is a better term here? it really does resemble naked bike design ideas) cases go, this one certainly isn't bad. The price is just as obscene as most of the others, but this one does have interesting cooling and expansion options, and is somewhat form + function instead of one or the other.

That's dumb and stupid and yet to someone that will be their perfect, favourite case ever.

Points go to the lucky Thermaltake product designer who managed to convince senior management to let them make something original rather than a carbon copy of someone else's idea for a change though. That's always a point of merit that cannot be taken for granted these days.
