Thanks Mal. I hope this one not only boost the Bioshock but it'll also helps boost other games..

agreed, waiting on bioshock to release so i can play my preorder.

Is Bioshock out already?

I thought it was full o bugs?

In XP these drivers made no visual or frame-rate based improvements to my Bioshock demo - I see no reason to use them under 32-bit XP.

they did smooth out my performance on vista though, the game runs far too well on my system given how well it looks.

the only problem I'm having is that I am getting stuttering and crackling audio.

dl'in wonder if I will get an incress in my fps (bioshock).. it seems to be running quiet smoothly (well good) already.

Turn EAX off.

for me it just seemed to reduce stuttering, didn't really give me more frames, although my computer kinda sucks

only running an athlon 64 3200+, 7800gs, and 2 gigs of ram

wareagle: demo is, game isnt. demo is buggy, but also reported to be an old build compared to the full game.

A few people got it prerelease so its out on torrent sites everywhere, but retail/steam def isnt out yet.

I just picked up the game from BestBuy. So far it's playing great on 8800GTS. There's a new post: AMD Bioshock Hotfix. Is it only for AMD card? or is it for AMD CPU? I have an AMD processor but a Nvidia card. Can I use this hotfix?
