Possible specifications of NVIDIA's next-generation flagship Quadro RTX professional graphics card leaked to the web. The SKU is possibly based on the same 8 nm "GA102" silicon as the GeForce RTX 3090, but features more of the silicon unlocked. It apparently features 10,752 CUDA cores, or exactly one TPC (two SMs) more than the RTX 3090. With 84 SM (42 TPC), the unnamed Quadro RTX should feature 84 RT cores, 336 Tensor cores, and 336 TMUs.

NVIDIA's choice for memory for the upcoming Quadro RTX flagship is interesting, as it's prioritizing memory size over bandwidth (which is more relevant in the professional visualization use-case dealing with large data sets). The card features 48 GB of conventional GDDR6 memory clocked at 16 Gbps over the chip's 384-bit wide memory interface, which should work out to 768 GB/s of memory bandwidth. The max GPU Boost frequency is pegged at 1860 MHz. There's no word on availability. Pictured below is the previous-gen Quadro RTX 5000.

The picture is a previous gen Quadro card. We don't know yet what kind of cooling design they are going to use.

Based on previous Generations we can only speculate they will be either Blower style, or fanless and cooled in a rack mount with high speed Nidec style fans.

I think pro cards tend to have a blower design, this design is more suited to servers.

The blower design are better for multi-GPU configuration, which are used on workstations and servers. The problem is you don't want to sit next to them irl :D, it's better for them to be in thermal and humidity controlled room which are not comfortable for human anyways.

It has to be actively cooled, this isn't a Tesla. Quadros are meant to be used in standard workstations, however pairing a 350W GPU with a blower will be a first I think, I haven't seen that before. Well, I haven't really seen a 350W GPU out of the box in general up until now either...

hey as long as it spins fast enough…..water cooling is probably smart for these workstations.

Oil cooling works well for high density racks, however it voids the warranty as well

They could provide the card with a similar cooling solution as the 2080 super in the new Alienware Area51... the water cooler sits in a pci-e slot...

High water temp inside the loop would just kill off the pump or liquid permeation would just make the AIO unusable within a couple of years. These cards are also meant to be NVLinked so yeah no space for a AIO that slot into the PCIe slot.

As i previously said earlier, 3090 is not the full chip. The full chip costs an arm and a leg.
Which is this card.

Hopefully well have a 3090 ti, with full chip, so the big full fat reaches gamers computers.
But first nvidia needs to make some money selling the "incomplete" "defective" chips that the 3090 are.

Thats how they make money to buy the likes of ARM.

The difference in performance between a fully enabled GA102 chip and one with two SMs disabled would literately be within margin of error.

How about a 300W GPU with a blower that's open front/back? ;)

What if boost was also higher -> top binned part?

No way, the power consumption is simply too great. Unless they want to be first ones to ship a GPU with a chiller it ain't happening.

No matter what they'd do it's not going to be any faster than 3-4% at the very most.

a long Hdmi cable and usb extension cable and voila...it will do the trick and one can have the PC in another room and not having to endure the noisy experience of the Quadro fans

are you sure?

i did have 4870x2 for a few years, it really depends on ambient temp+dust buildup+case (if it happens to be angled to block a straight line of the sound to your ears)
