How about apart from those 4000+ kits they also deliver 3600+ modules that are tuned for Ryzen and don't cost an arm and a leg.
 
There is a 16 GB (2x8) 4000 CL15 (15-16-16-36) kit that costs ¥24,433 (about $220). Not sure about the price being higher than that of a human internal organ.

This is one of the best values in RAM for Ryzen. It's $154.99 CAD which is not bad for 32GB. That Gskill kit is attractive but I am confident the price will be prohibitive.

Just in time for Zen 3? I wonder how far we will be able to push the IF.

I am waiting for Zen 3 to drop before I buy new memory. But for less patient people there is always Teamgroup's Ripped Edition CL14 3600MHz 16GB kit currently retailing for £129 in the UK. Full timings are 14-15-15-35... It only comes in black with no RGB.

In contrast, I paid £84.99 (UK) for 16GB of patriot Viper steel 4133mhz and they can do that on under 1.5v, might have a play and see if I can achieve it with 1.45v, I currently run them at 4000mhz 16-16-16-32 @ 1.41v.
 
G SKILL Trident = Great RAM but ridiculous prices
 
When I was shopping for memory this week, 16GB 3600MHz CL16 cost 80% as much as 32GB 3600MHz CL18. Lower CAS latency murders your bang-for-buck and the performance change is within margin of error (and can slightly decrease your average FPS in some cases).
 
I like their Ripjaws design: no LEDs, nice simple black design and the prices are never jacked for good specs compared to some other brands. I just don't get why there are designs like rock candy for RAM...do companies do market research at all these days?

That's what the people want though.. not all people.. but you know.. The whole RGB thing is silly to me, and when I do finally build a new system it will all be turned off lol.. until I find a color I like lol.. My kids would absolutely love RGB.. Kids.

Seriously, how much faster does the memory run with all that nonsense? For me, performance is all that matters.

I just stick to the R, screw the B and the G
 
I do not like RGB anymore as well. Though I do admit, I fell for it initially. Now I chose non windowed cases and put the case down in desk no where to be seen. Good real estate saving! Opens your desk up ! But I must say, when the time comes to sell your components, rgb ones will go for more money and sell quickly. You can always turn off the rgb if you want to.
 
And I thought 3600 14-14-14-34 was my dream kit... This just might replace it.

I don't know why everyone's saying G.Skill is bad value, they're 3600 16 kits are competitively priced, and clock for clock/Cas for Cas they're definitely cheaper than corsair, who in my opinion, has the most expensive ram for the specs, but that's the Corsair Tax.

Yes, but those are 16GB kits. The question is, can I buy 2 of those kits for a total of 32GB and run all 4 without any issue??
 
I wonder what kind of Samsung modules this is? Oh - B-die - wonder if theres going to be any highend A-die soon...

It's unlikely we'll ever see a DDR4 IC that can OC like 8Gbit Samsung B-die. The combo of voltage scaling+tight timings+high clocks is just too awesome.
