This^ we've got enough 1440p 144/165Hz panels on the market, including MSI's various models. The only thing that seems to differentiate this model is it having HDR support, but if the price is $100 higher than the competition then that's not much of a bragging point.

Now make that in 32 inch...

As someone who's used a 32" 1440p monitor for years, you don't want one... You lose all the benefits of having a higher resolution. 1440p at 32" is like 1080p at a standard 24". If this was a 4K monitor however, 32" would be a great choice. I sold my 32" 1440p monitor and got a 27" and realized what I'd been missing out on, it's really not worth it.

I swear on my house, MSI releases new monitors weekly, like wtf, none of the monitor brands rehash their lineups so harshly like MSI. One week it's atrocious AUO VA panel, another LG IPS, then whatever F are TNs from and this cycle continues for the past few months...


Can these hideous brands for once release 1 bloodly good panel (like 1080p Pandas were marvelous for price/performance $170) a year, but packing the punch with all the latest features and good quality?

If MSI wants to compete, price this at $320 max, because we have VX2758-2KP-MHD at $350 and sometimes found for $330 or under GL850-B/GL83A's $380-450...


And no, 165hz isn't a valuable excuse to price this garbage $450+ since most 144hz monitors can oc to ~165hz.

I've used a 32 inch IPS for two years, and switched to a 32 inch VA (75 vs 144 Hz) couple of months ago. The size and resolution are excellent, and you get the benefit of being able to sit a bit further away from it. Improves your posture and is less tiring. On the other hand, if you do not have the space, I completely understand your concerns.

Frankly, image quality on the IPS was clearly superior, but after some calibration the VA comes close and the smoothness in games is incompatible. The only thing that's annoying is that the VA cannot do a non-static mesh fence even if it was to save it's life. So, a quality 32 inch IPS at a somewhat reasonable price would be great.
