Following yesterday's teaser of its top Radeon RX 6800 XT NITRO+ graphics card, Sapphire today teased its affordable custom-design offering, the Radeon RX 6800 XT Pulse. The Pulse brand extension represents cost-effective, low-noise custom-designs that are priced close to reference. It's likely that there could be variants of the card, one which sticks to AMD reference clock speeds, and the other with a mild factory overclock. The teaser picture reveals a card that's more than 2 slots thick, and features three evenly sized fans. Sapphire already announced its AMD reference-design cards for the RX 6800 XT and RX 6800, which would mean their Pulse and Pulse OC SKUs are slotted a notch above, followed by the NITRO+ series.

At first glance it doesn't look like a dual slot
Yea looks 2.5~2.75 slot-ish.
Why no dual fan love Sapphire? Cause reference PCB?

I really wish on these big cards they would just stop messing around, give us full 3 slot designs as being normal. i'd prefer colder temps more than anything else, and dual cards doesn't ever work lets just face the truth by now.

There definitely is a probability this and the Nitro use the same PCB. Not sure if ref based tho.
I don't think I remember first wave AIB cards ever coming out with custom PCB unless AMD/Nvidia didn't release a reference model.

Tbh though 3 slot coolers look plain fugly imo. 2.5~2.75 slot also looks ugly but not to the extent that is 3 slot or 3+. If a gpu needs 3 slot cooling why not do exotic liquid cooling at that point is my opinion.

They are very rare and usually limited editions

that is a monster of a card lmao.

i forget most of you have window cases. i have a silent foam case no windows. so i could care less about looks. i just want awesome cooling and no water, cause i dont like taking risks even if they are tiny

That actually happened many times before, HD3000-7000 had AIBs on launch with custom PCB, R9 290(X) had them, this sort of a thing even sort of happened on RX 400 albeit a very slight delay.
Rumors have it, that many of the AIB design RX 6000 cards will get their reviews only within 4-7 days from reference design, which isnt bad really.

They do this so the airflow cant be block off with an expansion card, its really a 3 slot card. but it looks like 2 slots to me on that image
