Jonsbo late Monday announced the UMX6, its flagship all-aluminium ATX mid-tower case for premium builds. The case is characterized by a main chamber that floats over a beam of aluminium with a silvery-matte finish. The case is vertically partitioned internally, with the main chamber that has the motherboard tray being located toward the tail end, and a smaller chamber with a PSU bay and drive bays toward the front, as shown in the pictures below. The internal PSU bay is wired to an AC receptacle at the back.

The motherboard tray of the Jonsbo UMX6 still offers room for boards up to E-ATX form-factor in size, graphics cards up to 33 cm in length, and CPU coolers up to 16.9 cm in height. Storage options include two 3.5-inch/2.5-inch drive trays, and four 2.5-inch mounts behind the motherboard tray. Ventilation includes either three 120 mm or two 140 mm fan mounts along the top, which vent out from cutouts at the sides; two 120 mm intakes at the bottom, and a 120 mm rear exhaust. Front panel connectivity includes a USB3 type-C, two USB3 type-A, two USB 2.0/1.1 type-A, and HDA jacks. The case measures 224 mm x 482 mm x 501 mm (WxDxH). The company didn't reveal pricing.

That is a one good looking case. And look! It actually has multiple USB ports up front. At least one manufacturer cares.

I actually think it is time this patent Silverstone has, to expire. The only two vague attempts at vertical airflow I've seen in the last years have been from Cooler master and Shakroon I think (not sure about this one). SS got their recognition, everyone knows they are the first. Let's not be the last, though.

Jonsbo UMX series has a long history, and those two cases have only a marginal resemblance.

So, yours is a cheap and undeserved shot really...

Since when is a comparison to one of the best air cooling chassis ever made a "cheap shot"? Yikes. Take it easy over there.

Well if it's as good as my old Jonsbo (Cooltek) W2 then it will be a sturdy case, I love Aluminium units, and these are often priced really well

This case fixes the 1 flaw of CM SL600M case by adding fan slot at the rear panel. Also it has more HDD slots by the looks of it which is a big plus for those building home servers. Now will wait for reviews of this case.

Externally, a nice, clean, serious-looking case, unlike so many of the other gimmicky/gammer/tweeny focused P.O.S.'s that have been released this year :)

Internally, not so much.... unless I am missing something, everytime I want to access the psu connection or the drive cages, I have to turn the case around to do it.... ewww....

At least it has USB-C on the front, so there's that....

Hopefully the price will be reasonable, but wait.... oh no, once again, we are left to wander around elsewhere on da net to get THAT one piece of crucial info.....:(..

Pretty? yes, but also starved for air, I dont think the top rad will have much room to expell the hot air, intake at the bottom should be fine.

This is a really nice looking case. Only thing that really kills it for me are the screws holding in the tempered glass.

Beautiful case imho, but that's not where you want your ports when the case sits on the floor.

I've got the previous version (UMX4 Pro). Very tight, but it looks great. With 2 bottom intakes, a 240mm aio as a top exhaust and a 120mm rear exhaust, airflow is ok with a 3080 and a 3700x.

Use an air cooler or run the rear fan as an intake and it turns into an oven very quickly.
