PNY Announced today the availability of the new 1TB2 PRO Elite Class 10 U3 V30 SDXC Flash Memory Card (1 TB PRO Elite SDXC Card) delivering today's maximum capacity and UHS-I performance to professional photographers and enthusiasts of all levels. There is nothing more important in photography and videography than to be ready and well-equipped to capture life's most extreme adventures. PNY 1 TB PRO Elite SDXC Card offers impressive storage without compromising performance, allowing photographers and videographers to create new content seamlessly, whether shooting photos at 24MP and higher, or 4K videos which require constant data recording.

The 1 TB PRO Elite SDXC Card is rated Class 10, U3 and features V30 video speed allowing for 4K video recording. The sequential read and write speeds of up to 100 MB/s and up to 90 MB/s, respectively, ensure top UHS-I performance without the need for any special reader to achieve these speeds. These impressive specs culminate into one powerful storage device capable of holding up to 151,740 photos at 24MP or up to 21 hours of 4K video at 60 frames per second.

"I'm constantly switching back and forth between photo and video professional work", says Robert Silver, PNY Elite Team Member. "The demand from my clients to be able to produce video and still images are higher than ever and for any photo or video project to be successful, the photographer needs to rely on the equipment used, including the storage medium's capabilities in terms of the amount of content it can hold and how it performs under the real-life situations we face in our field of work. PNY products have provided me with a much-needed edge throughout the years, and the new 1 TB PRO Elite SDXC card will make any new project easier, thanks to its capacity, top UHS-I speeds, and the V30 video speed performance, allowing me to shoot at 24MP and create seamless 4K video content, whether in my studio or outdoors."

Now just waiting on the micro & nano-sized versions of this card :)

nano-sized versions of this card :)

I thought the nano stuff was more to do with Huawei trying to push their own 'proprietary standard' the same way sony was trying to push their own memory cards with PSP Vita's

Huawei's move to nano did leave a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. If i have an existing microSD card, Id like to be able to use it and not be required to buy a new one which i then cant use on any other devices apart from the small handful of huawei phones that support it.

Pro Elite - V30 rating
would like to see what would be the rating for a "Normal Regular" 8X CD-ROM speed?

Slow card with so much space is not good imo.. the more you record on it without swapping the card the more likely it becomes to lose everything if the card fails. sd-cards shouldn't be used for storage.

jesus christ, SD cards have exploded

My first digital camera had a 16MB SD Card that i still have in a box somewhere...
