MSI Cargo Containers Chock-Full of RTX 3090 Graphics Cards Allegedly Stolen, $336,500 Value at MSRP

Is that also MSI if I remember well that "allowed" one of his supplier to buy a bunch of GPU and sell them on ebay and got caught ?

I can't help but think this was an inside job...Or maybe these days are just THAT batshit crazy, who knows?

Also, thanks to whoever posted those GN vids about MSI. I'd swap out my MSI 1660 Super for another brand, but given the current GPU/CPU clusterfuck I know I'm much better off just hanging on to the damn thing until the shitstorm passes.

Thats what insurance is for. ;)

Unless any "stolen" cards are Recovered or Identified (by Serial number) we only have MSI's Word as to how many went "missing"
IF none resurface then the Insurance value gets paid to MSi ( and who knows if they inflate the Total loss :)..)

Until I hear better excuse like "the thiefs were ex-special forces operators whom slaughtered all guards and hacked into security surveillance" I call this staged bs.

Is this the same company that has been embroiled in perceived desultory actions. I really begs one to wonder how something in a market so controlled would be able to happen. Having said that there have to be gaps that a knowledgeable local group would carry out. I wonder if the serial number(s) has been attached to a Distributor outside of Taiwan or if they are just in MSI's database. It just goes to show you that COVID19 has put some things into a great juxtaposition of what we consider to be normal.
