NVIDIA to Host "GeForce RTX: Game On" Broadcast Event on January 12th

Too late, the market is flooded with the mighty 6900 XT!

Oh wait.

Wow, a nVidia news thread, and you had to bring up the 6900 XT. Your fear of AMDs products amuses me.

nVidia had a months head start and basically a process node to themselves, but they still didn't manage to produce enough cards to satisfy the market and they are months away from "flooding" it. Your leather jacket idol knew AMD has a excellent product and decided to launch anyway to steal their thunder, disregarding the low stock they had. AMD countered. And here we are now: the prices are sky high and there is barely any stock anywhere. They should have kept producing Turing for a few months more and drop the prices, instead of this - it would be much better ...

it is ridiculous to launch new hardware when the "old" is not available yet...

It was a joke brother man. Because nobody can get any of these cards anyway.

In a vain attempt to deflect from the reality of the truth being brought back to the front of the mind share race this seems to have many analogies (Non Covid only) to the rallies help by someone months ago. When have Nvidia ever announced or teased (apparently some reviewers already have the 3080TI) or leaked this many GPUs (in such a short time). What will they promise us? Do we realize that if a $300 compelling GPU from either side is released it would probably suffer the fate of the 3300X which has not been discontinued but is Out of Stock everywhere.
