NVIDIA Crypto Mining Processor 30HX Card Pictured

Well over at mindfactory I can see ton of 3060 being sold already, at very inflated prices but there are stock available, which I can't say the same for any other GPU, that means Nvidia's strategy to get gaming GPU into the hand of gamers kinda work doesn't it :D.

Every corporation is greedy AF (welcome to capitalism), but if their goal aligns with yours, why do you care (well unless you are crypto miner)? Nvidia can sell 100% of their chips right now either way, they would rather have gamers as their customers, that way their business can grow more healthier than selling to miners won't it?
Praise the lord, we can finally buy "$330" gpu for €650+.

MF sold like 1000+ of them already, so yeah, demands are quite high, Germany has been in lockdown for 4 months already

so rather than manufacturing more gaming cards to bring prices down and ease demand for gamers, Nvidia will give miners more cards...that makes sense

Everyone seems to ignore the fact that many miners are gamers who have not had to pay for a top tier card in years.
By introducing the hash-rate limiter most of these potential buyers will not be able to/want to, afford to buy a new top tier card anymore .
They definitely wont buy an outdated mining only card [@26 mh] that can not be resold down the line. The big mining companies would be the only ones buying them.
While this may help alleviate the currant shortage it will impact future sales of top tier skus going forward.

Meanwhile at LTT:

Yep, if you want to.

My money will be staying in my wallet until there is a good (at least 1.5x-2x an RX480 8GB) card on the shelf for $350 cnd. If it takes 5 more years so be it.

Arrived just in time, along with hacked 30-series drivers...

O, yeah. "our partners were so excited about this program" that they've decided to run ads for mining laptops along the way.

Considering lack of and problems in silicon supply and wafer production this is nothing short of criminal waste of resources.

No miner with single brain cell will buy those because there is 0 resell value.

That's what people thought of P102/104 cards back in a day, until these dire times arrived. Now you can't even buy P104 for less than $500, considering they give you nearly identical hashrates to 40CX at much lower TDP.
Also note, that everything except 90HX is based on older Turing, not Ampere.

Lol miners are buying used rx580 for 300usd en mass in my country, these HX30 should still be better option than those used rx580 if they are priced at let say 200usd?
retailers are selling 1660 for 450usd afterall, these HX30 would be a steal :).

Miners posess brain cells? Didn't know
Like it or not, mining is basically a job with income and maintanence and balancing a budget...

Yes, it takes brain cells.
