Huntkey, a leading provider of power solutions, has recently upgraded and released its GS Series power supply units. Four models, including the GS500, GS550, GS600 and GS700, are optimized from the inside structure and packed with a new colorful paper box. The GS Series power supply units were launched around three years ago, and now they are upgraded to better meet the players' gaming demands. They have been hot sellers in the southeast and middle Asia markets since their launch in 2017. They are equipped with choicest components to provide power outputs from 350 watts to 600 watts. Their main features are as follows.

High Quality and Advanced Circuit Design
They are made with selected components to ensure quality. They are equipped with Active PFC, dual forward topology and double EMI filters to improve power efficiency, as well as increase the performance and stability of the users' PC system.

80 Plus Certified Energy
They are 80 Plus certified, meaning recognition of high energy efficiency, which can exceed 85% at 50% load, and reach up to 82% at 20% and 100% load.

Extremely Silent Fan
They are designed with a 120 mm temperature control fan, which can operate more smoothly without friction and control the rotating speed intelligently. The fan operates extremely silent to offer a better user experience.

Multiple Protections
Multiple protections include SCP, OPP, OVP, OCP and UVP to minimize the risk of damage from short circuit, over load, over voltage, under voltage and over current.

In low end market it is popular to give names which refers to "peak wattage". The GS700 peak wattage is 700W, but real continous wattage is 600W. It is posible to see that on the box is writen "700W max power".

I know that it is shameful but even such well known companies as Deepcool use this marketing trick:

How dare any of you question and mock "a leading provider of power solutions" that has equipped this marvel of electrical technology "with choicest components"?!

Note; This is the first time I have ever seen the word "choicest" used in a press release so props there for using the word of the day desk calendar.

well, I think the cheap PSU is "OK" if you use UPS
I bouhgt huntkey APFC 700 6 or 7 years ago, and the UPS 1 year ago
I had problem with fan, and fixed it by add some oil.

cheap bronze PSU with UPS is better than expensive PSU only, I think, or?
sorry for my weak english.

no need to apologize for your "weak english" (which is fine by the way) , most of us have a hard enough time with one language let alone two or more

A UPS is a battery backup for your PC that help protect your PC from power fluctuation, blackouts, and surges but it does not make your PSU better. A poor performing PSU is a poor performing PSU with or without a UPS and can take out your hardware by itself. So it's better to have a good performing PSU and a good UPS (if needed) or surge protector.

That only has any merits if your UPS is of on-line type, i.e., actually runs on regulated battery power all the time without switching. And even then it doesn't address issues like poor secondary voltage regulation and ripple suppression in low-end PSUs.

Cheap PSUs can actually cause additional problems with UPS. Especially if it isn't on-line it has a switching time, during which PSU has to hold-up power. This is practical implication of hold-up time test in real world. And low end PSUs often have short hold-up times...
