AMD today released the Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.3.2 beta drivers. The drivers come with optimization for "Outriders," "Evil Genius 2: World Domination," and the DirectX Raytracing update for "DiRT 5." A handful issues have also been fixed. Radeon RX 6700 series GPUs incorrectly reporting clock speeds in the Performance tab of Radeon Software, has been fixed. Artifacts noted with shadows in "Insurgency: Sandstorm," has been fixed. A bug with desktop resolution changing after a power cycle, on certain displays, has been fixed. Screen blacking out when playing games in the borderless fullscreen mode with FreeSync enabled on RX 6000 series GPUs, has been fixed. Grab the drivers from the link below.

Support For
  • Outriders
  • Evil Genius 2: World Domination
  • DIRT 5 Update 4.0: DirectX Raytracing
Fixed Issues
  • Radeon RX 6700 series graphics products may report incorrect core clock values in performance tuning and/or the system graphics hardware information tab.
  • Shadows may exhibit corruption in Insurgency: Sandstorm on Radeon RX 6000 series graphics products.
  • On a limited number of displays, the preferred desktop resolution in Windows may change when the display is power cycled.
  • The start and cancel buttons in the performance tuning stress test may disappear when Radeon Software is resized to be small.
  • A black screen may occur on a limited number of displays when Radeon FreeSync is enabled and playing a game set to use borderless fullscreen on Radeon RX 6000 series graphics products.
Known Issues
  • Connecting two displays with large differences in resolution/refresh rates may cause flickering on Radeon RX Vega series graphics products.
  • Enabling vsync in Rocket League and setting the game to use borderless fullscreen may cause stuttering or ghosting.
  • Radeon RX 400 and 500 series graphics products may experience a TDR during extended periods of video playback.
  • Brightness flickering may intermittently occur in some games or applications when Radeon FreeSync is enabled, and the game is set to use borderless fullscreen.
  • Enhanced Sync may cause a black screen to occur when enabled on some games and system configurations. Any users who may be experiencing issues with Enhanced Sync enabled should disable it as a temporary workaround.

They barely let the previous release cool off before launching a new version.

Well, can't complain when they fix issues along the way.

How many more releases are we going to have before they finally fix this

this problem has been hanging round like a some bad smell for quite awhile now they either need to fix it or just remove the setting altogether

From what I heard from others, if a problem can have multiple causes, AMD will keep the problem listed until all the possible causes are fixed.

Is it broken for you?

Does the stress test support all AMD cards? ..The last release I could not see a stress test icon for Fury cards...

It supports Polaris at the very least, but the R7 260X in my other rig doesn't seem to be supported.

So, I'm guessing it only works on GCN 4 and later.

Well of course they don't. Why do you think there's Vanguard?

We get new test drivers sometimes 1-3 times a week at times to sort out and replicate bugs, but there is also regression of some bugs at times that mess with certain problems Radeon users encounter.

It's a kinda fix one issue and 2 more problems pop up kind of deal, its the nature of the beast..

Any issues? please use the included bug reporting tool within the driver. ALL bug reports are looked at, SERIOUSLY THEY ARE! every one is checked, and tried to repo by the team to check the issue and look for a fix n so on.

:rockout:

I can understand that, I've had that same thought about the Insider program Microsoft is running (now, if MS didn't fire like the whole QA team, that would have been better)

Can't complain, my experience so far has been almost perfect (considering my ageing hardware lol). Keep up the good work! :peace:
