First of all I hate buying retail pc games....I just started doing so in late 2004, games are too big to try "getting them" all anymore.

I have a retail copy of Half Life 2 available to trade, the 5 cd version.

I'd like to swap it for QUAKE 4 retail version.

I don't play CounterStrike at all so HL2 has zero replayability for me, but I do play UT2k4 online & I'd play Q4 online.

So, anybody wanna swap HL2 for YOUR Quake 4? Only for US residents, I ship Priority Mail USPS.

I can get HL2 here for about $40cnd, and Q4 is a $65cnd. It wouldn't be worth it for most people. How much does Q4 and HL2 go for down in the states?

I paid $49.99 for HL2, Q4 is 49.99 or 54.99 depending where u buy it.

Theres a lot of CS freaks out there though so HL2 for some is a "must have."

Everything I've read about Q4 leads me to believe its similar to Doom 3 (which sucked I thought) but I do play a few fps online. Just not CS.

(Q4 multi is quite good I hear)

Q4 sucks , i bought it played it and sold it ................. not worht it in my opinion , you are just seeing a different version of doom3 , nothing new , i'd rather spend that money and get F.E.A.R. or Painkiller dvd black edition

Well thats not so bad then... HL2 is so much cheaper than Q4 here. Here we can get just CS by itself. But Doom3 is rather dark and it gets a little annoying after a while. :(

in the states...

Quake cost 20 bucks for the Director edition...and still 20 bucks for the normal. (the difference between the to is on is dvd and the other is cd).

you can get HL2:GOTY now for 30 bucks.
