Three Major Arm Licensees Endorse the NVIDIA Takeover

Amazon is still not designing anything, they bought a company that is designing chips for them.
The guy finished EE and designed his own software as his first investment. Can you be less under appreciative of what a genius Jeff Bezos is?

No that would be me but I'll not demonstrate how un appreciative I am for fear of thread banning.
One man's genius is another man's idiot.

Trust issues when it comes to that "fishy smelling" green(nV) troll. Or , as the folksaying goes , some like this :"fish goes bad, it's from the head that it begins to".

This is good.. nvidia needs arm to breakup the intel amd server monopoly
You realise a monopoly is one company dominating?!, Sooo your wrong there and wrong in general , Arm platforms running Windows are out already in servers and for consumers Without Nvidia doing anything.

So no fff Nvidia, there is not one company they bought, that they didn't disappear into obscurity.

Future PLC bought Anandtech.

Thank god you d'not have to decide

I hope these companies are not supporting Nvidia's acquisition of ARM due to some "promised benefits/ preferential treatment expectations" from Nvidia. Generally, Nvidia's reputation is that they don't play nice regardless if you are friend or foe.

Michael Jackson Reaction GIF

Why softbank is in such a big ass hurry to dump arm to begin with makes no sense. Do they honestly think selling now is peak profitability?

One word ~ WeWork
The New York Times called the company's failed effort to go public and related turmoil, "an implosion unlike any other in the history of start-ups,"
From everyone's favorite, Wiki :twitch:
On November 6, 2019, SoftBank Group reported a $9.2 billion in write-downs on its investments in WeWork. This amount is approximately 90% of the $10.3 billion SoftBank invested in WeWork over the past few years.
Remember for every startup "success" story there's probably 10x as many failures out there!
Softbank chew way more than what they could digest & then Covid stuck, I can't even imagine the losses due to that :slap:

WeWork was SoftBank's Theranos.
Theranos, the blood-testing startup once valued at $9 billion, has fallen far from grace.

Yes, but a slight ~35 billion dollar difference here
WeWork formally withdrew its S-1 filing and announced the postponing of its IPO. At that time, the reported public valuation of the company was around $10 billion, a reduction from the $47 billion valuation it achieved in January and less than the $12.8 billion it had raised since 2010
I bet someone made a lot of bucks for that "valuation" of sorts :toast:

Like wise to you, monopoly.
Amd fan are you ?

Have nvidia ever paid oem to not put amd products like intel ? D'not compare nvidia to the true monopolist like intel and qualcom

The Origin PC tier 0 scandal, Geforce Partner Program.

Weak argument
You don't like facts, aren't you? Do you care to disclose your affiliations? Employee, shareholder or fanboy in denial?

What exactly are you arguing about? Does it have anything to do with Nvidia s acquisition of arm and the three companies that are backing Nvidia? No?
You may want to take it to pms before you get the thread locked.
