Sapphire seems to be preparing an air-cooled version of its top-of-the-line RX 6900 XT Toxic graphics card, eschewing the hybrid cooling philosophy from its original release in favour of a more traditional full air cooling solution. In fact, Sapphire seems to be re-purposing the triple-fan cooling solution from its Nitro + graphics cards whist changing the color scheme to the yellow of the Toxic series.

That should me more than sufficient to keep the card cool, however, while other improvements present in the Toxic RX 6900 XT (such as the usage of the Navi 21 XTX chip and improvements to the circuit board and power delivery enabling much higher clocks and overclocking) are still present, justifying the top-tier Toxic naming on this graphics card. Sapphire has announced the RX 6900 XT Toxic reaches a Boost Clock of 2425 MHz and a Game Clock of 2235 MHz - lower than the hybrid-cooled version's 2525 MHz and 2375 MHz, respectively. No word on pricing or availability was available at time of writing.

Cool. So they're making 3 cards?

Finally, a Toxic card. Now I just need it in a blue variant, and I may actually buy this far in the future.

:rockout::rockout::rockout::rockout::rockout::rockout::rockout:

XTX OR XTXH? I find it hard to believe the Toxic will be the same ship as the nitro+ SE.

I hope they learn something from the bricking demonstration...:p

I thought the blue made it a Vapor-X?

Need the VaporX Colors

Need the VaporX Colors
Was the R9 290X the last Vapor-X model? It looked pretty damn nice, wish my Nitro+ card had that nice color scheme. I know I had a Vapor-X card a ways back, but can't for the life of me recall which model though....

1 for TPU, 1 for LTT and 1 for jayz2cents
There's been a 6900XT Toxic on the shelf at my local microcenter for weeks. Along with every other card in the AMD lineup. Nobody wants them. 6700XT are $1K. Meanwhile the Nvidia GPUs can barely make it to the shelf. There was some 3090s today but they were MSI and Gigabyte.

Wow, thanks for that most informative post! Though I do agree that the mid level cards from AMD are still outrageously priced...

People keep crying about no stock but the truth is nobody really wants AMD besides a select few. The stock is there. Just nobody really wants it. Guarantee the people complaining about stock would hesitate on buying a $900 before taxes 6700 XT. Let alone a $2400 6900XT

Couldn't be more wrong. I can nearly guarantee you that people would buy the AMD cards in droves if the retailers - yes, retailers, because they are a bigger problem than the scalpers and miners combined -- didn't flip both AMD and Nvidia the bird in regards to the MSRPs both set for their cards and instead jacked the prices up beyond reason.

Retailers, yes like those in the brick and mortar shops here, have themselves become scalpers. Prices of both AMD and nVidia cards are selling in such shops at scalpers' pricing, but if they do sell lower at not exactly MSRP, it'd be part of a system build (they usually dump some crap parts like iffy PSU's for example).

Thats the tariffs. Certain brands are much cheaper than others.

and what you said is basically what I said, you just bolded half and forgot the rest.
So you're saying people don't want to pay $1k for a 6700 XT?

AMD should offer value for money with their 6600 XT cards, yet people already know ray tracing performance is not that great. I wish they made more cards with cool red accents or red backplates to spruce things up in the aesthetics department.

For $1k 6700s look like a steal, in India retailers are price gouging them at $1400 while their official price is well below half that.

what... isn't what you wanted? ,,, the fast graphics card on the planet... just got faster... showed them some thermal tricks. 3.12Ghz is my comfort zone for the 6900 chip.

The fastest card on the market right now is the 6900 XTXH Sapphire Toxic Hybrid, or literally any other 6900 XTXH. They are priced higher than any 3090, non-scalper, if you can actually find one. People tend to assume nvidia is the fastest.

Thats Right, VaporX became Nitro+/Toxic later on. Back then VX was the top tier card.

I Have a 290 VaporX 4G.

They've been sitting on the shelf for weeks. Got Ultimate Red Devil Air-cooled or Liquid Devil, Strix 6900XT LC also have Saphire Toxic and Asrock OC Formula. Nobody really wants them or if they do they don't want it very bad.

I said they are the fastest card on the market. I have one. Not everyone is willing to spend or research.

You said people can't find one. I've seen a bunch collecting dust is what I said. Didn't say they weren't faster but people don't really want them.

Or, maybe they do want it bad but figure they could put the money towards life stuff, like rent/mortage, food, Rx's, hell even a nice little weekend getaway...
