After installing the latest driver with recommended settings through NVCleanstall and I can't manage NVIDIA Freestyle to work . With classic Nvidia install worked through Geforce Experience . So my question is : Do I really need to install that crap Geforce Experience for Nvidia Freestyle to work ? Isn't another way to work without all of Nvidia's bunch of crap ?
God bless this software NVCleanstall ! You guys really rock ! It really helped with my performance besides Nvidia who's installing a lot of things that you don't need and you get worse performance...

I'm afraid so.

You're free to experiment with the various package install options though. Do note there's an "ignore" button on the dependency alerter

Thanks for the response and the note!

I never ran into any serious trouble when messing with the package choices, because you're always installing the display driver component, and thats really the only thing required for a working graphics driver

And it should be by default with an option to disable the other bloatware...but I guess at Nvidia's making customers happy would be never in future plans or ever . I wouldn't say that but with the classic express installation it just makes my pc to run like Pentium 4 and I wish that would be a joke but after long research and many attempts to speed up ,stop stuttering and lag(even in windows) the only solution that worked was NVCleanstall . Besides making my pc smooth as should be It even gained me ~20fps by debloating drivers, this is great . Do you think that Nvidia's trying again to slow performance on older cards or it's just my psu ? When I'm playing games both the psu and the graphics card are making some noise ,more like an electric noise , it's strange and I didn't even noticed till I removed the glass panel . I have them for 6 years and the temps are still very good at full load . Max ~65C without changing the paste but at idle I can't get to run at 0 RPM mode cause it stays always at 50C. Besides the thermal paste that should be changed do you think that I need to change my psu ? I mean a 600w bronze psu should work fine with a ryzen 7 2700 ,gtx 1070 ,6 fans ,2hdd ,2ssd and some led strips but the fact that I have it for 6 years concerns me cause after 24/7 of working I think that it's lifespan it's almost at the end . I read that psu could be problematic after some time so I know it isn't on topic and I would delete this after , I just need you opinion . This is frustrating cause I changed almost all in this pc apart from the psu and the graphics card and it's the same problem every time about running slow ,lags ,stutter and anything besides it working as it should be...

Just to clarify, you don't mean the noise the fans are making, but something like an electric chirping? that's called coil whine or coil noise. Google will have lots of info on that. It's not unexpected

Yeah , I mean coil wine from both of them . It appeared random after some years but it doesn't justify the slowdowns on this hardware .

Yeah, I doubt that's the reason. Do you have a spare SSD that you can try a fresh Windows install on? Just to see if the problem goes away on a new install? (which would make it a software problem)

One year ago I upgraded from a sata ssd to an m.2 ssd and still the same with a fresh ssd . Even changed the mb,cpu, ram and nothing . It felt a lot faster but still with lags, freez and stuff.

one more thing: go to Device Manager and enable Show Hidden devices. Remove any driver that you don't have in your PC. It rare but might work.

I disabled them . I'll let you know if it worked . Thanks ! Btw the coil whine reduced a lot with v-sync on 1/2 refresh rate but it's still there on both .

As some people need NVIDIA Freestyle(thus also Geforce Experience, slimmed if possible), to be able to use Filters for badly visualy calibrated games like WARZONE
It would be good to have a PRESET for NVIDIA Freestyle in your installer.

and another PRESET for a full Geforce Experience Install.

thks techpowerup for NVCleanstall

BTW first time in my life(blame Warzone) that i had to install this bloatware/spyware called Geforce Experience

Tried installing adding more options(see pictures), but neither the "overlay" or "Freestyle" game filters worked
