CCleaner 2.0 Released

Piriform, the developer of the well known system-cleanup utility CCleaner, has updated CCleaner from version 1.41 to 2.0. The new version of the software has been completely rebuilt in C++ to give faster analysing and cleaning of files, as well as numerous tweaks and fixes such as improved Vista compatibility. CCleaner is completely free, and is definitely worth a look if you've never used it before. It can be downloaded here, with a complete version history available here.

Neone else get a virus (poison something) ? I installed 2 or 3 apps in a row , so I can`t be sure which one it was , but this was one of them.

Haven't ever had that problem before, haven't actually tried this new one yet but I'd be very surprised if it had anything like that. What were the other apps?

Other appz were Safari beta and something else.I`m assuming it was the apps cause I didn`t have a browser open at the time.

I've been using CCleaner since the early days. It's excellent and very fast compared to "paid for products". Never caused problems... only speeded up the PC by removing junk, esp, internet junk.
