The EVGA X570 DARK brings the exclusive DARK experience to Team Red for the first time. This motherboard evolved through a comprehensive design overhaul to squeeze out the full performance of the legendary AMD Zen 3 processors. With a highly-efficient 17-phase digital VRM design, 10-layer PCB, and two built-in VRM fans, it's no wonder that some tried to fool you with DARK imitations.

Powered with unmatched multi-core performance and energy efficiency, the EVGA X570 DARK unshackles your PC with PCIe Gen4 support for the latest graphics cards and M.2 storage, lightning-fast 4800 MHz+(OC) memory support, two Intel 2.5 Gbps NICs, Wi-Fi 6/BT 5.2, plus an abundance of SATA 6 Gb/s ports and USB options. The search for the pinnacle of desktop PC performance is over: this is the way.

neat. too bad there are no gpu's.

" tried to fool you with Dark imitations." Whom are they referring to ? All I can think of is, MSI Unify x570 but that has been out in the market for more than a year. I just do not get EVGA marketing team anymore.

is this just for XOC? if so why audio, wifi/bt, etc. Do you need those things for XOC? If it isn't only for XOC, why bother releasing it, AM4 is dead end.

Why releasing it ? Because they can .... it ends there !

Your logic assumes that just because you don't see value in this board , others don't aswell ..... needless to say your logic is skewed !

not so sure it ends there, they have to sell these, they are a business. Also, at no point did i assert either implicitly or explicitly that this had no value to others. What i did question was the marketability, timing and strange feature set of an exclusively XOC board.

Will they be doing a full atx version of this

I expect other vendors starting to copy that arrangement for the audio capacitors.

Plenty of radeon GPU at local micro center, just at absurd price
Hi,
Yeah really bad look when "power color" turns into one of worst scalpers in a real retail chain or chains really.
Think I read tariffs were why not sure I believe that.

Embargo is over now next is the review

So is evga gonna support this or shovelware like they did on x58?

Seems like an arrogant jab at MSI. Except B550 Unify-X has been the AM4 2DIMM OCer for like, 9 months, and X570 Unify-X Max will probably land at the same time and do exactly what the Dark can do for less money (albeit the fucky PCIe slot layout on the X570).

Yeah, Dark might have started the 2DIMM trend, but I think EVGA is just salty that all the others have caught on and are offering competitive/better boards at lower prices, without making their customers wait until the chipset is EOL. ie. all the Z590 Tachyon, Unify-X, Apex and OC Formula that beat EVGA to the punch

It's so they can sell it to the general public also of course, believe it or not most people who buy this will just put it in their gaming rig because it looks cool or something.

I think it's a clear jab at Asus for its Crosshair VIII Dark Hero board since it actually uses "Dark" in its name, whereas the MSI Unify does not.

This just isn't worth $700 bucks in any scenario unless it proves to clock better than others for some sort of competitions.

Someone please tell me why would you want two NICs on a motherboard? What's the benefit?

I actually like the look of this Mobo. However, having only 2 Dram slots is a deal breaker for me.

Waiting for the FTW3 version to launch. It has been confirmed.

Probably Asus's Dark Hero.

Ehhhhh, EVGA has been doing that layout since they released their Z390 boards.

I count one USB C port on the IO. I need more.

I see a few glaring problem with the release of this board,
1. It is not cheap
2. It is very late in the game. Unless next gen AMD processor works with this, no point splurging this much money on a board that will soon be outdated
3. There are other high end boards out there, and I don't really think this stands out from the crowd.

Yep, having only 2 DIMM slots absolutely will help with RAM speeds. Also, up until now X570s would do much worse than B550 since BCLK OC only works on B550, but with the newer X570 boards, and specifically this 2 DIMM board, it makes a huge change. Some used the ITX x570 boards to get the 2DIMMs config even. Yea it is targeting the LN2 OCers for sure, all the features for them, no doubt KINGPIN had some influence. Buildzoid is probably ready to sell his soul for this board LOL

It's clearly a competitive overclocking board. Or for someone that wants that look and will pay anything for it.
Big meh from us regular mortals, my simple B550 handles curve optimizer well enough.

Doesn't look dark, too much color and it should be black.
