Or is it purposefully built for Alder Lake ?
They pretty much advertise that portions of it (like the android emu thing we have yet to see) were built with Intel in mind. I mean they even call it "Intel Bridge Technology"

I think it is safe to say Microsoft has Intel as a priority by virtue of being a larger vendor alone. Still dumb, but at least makes some amount of sense fron a purely selfish corperate standpoint.

This is why I always take a wait and see approach to new tech, especially OSes. Nothing new really, should be resolved eventually.

Well I would have thought it would be much more likely to get existing known familiar hardware ie cpus working better and easier with new Win11 than an unreleased product ie alder lake?
Or is it purposefully built for Alder Lake ?
But I'm no developer!

Intel helped MS build the Win11 Scheduler.

I mean the fix comes out before alder lake launch if you guys would read the article. I know, that's painful, but it might break your conspiracy worries down before they begin, and that's a good thing, right?
Well we shall see if that actually occurs ?
For benchmarks with win11 and alder lake, what will they compare it to if it doesn't?
Still do w11 anyway?

I thought most every thread in this forum was about a MS, Intel, Nvidia cabal out to get AMD conspiracy theory.
That's just history not a conspiracy. Dev branch had the fix before they pushed broken to rtm. Its staying in dev longer than normal... Alders lake launching on the 4th will be hitting reviewers soon. Even if the patch is released before the 4th it could easily taint launch benchmarks. The only theory is that this was purposeful rather than incompetence and that simply requires time to see if it plays out.

Those laughing and being dismissive are clearly ignorant of the past and eager for it to repeat.

I think those that think this is a conspiracy that will go over reviewers heads really don't have faith in their hardware reviewers.

For the most part, those reviewers have already been hired by Intel. Shrout and company. I would say most of the serious review sites will be fine, its the influencers on YouTube that don't have the experience or expertise that are vulnerable. This has the potential to cause issues and allow Intel marketing to make specific claims... But I think the tech reviewers have grown tired of being manipulated in general. Publishing review guides, calling amd Nvidia and Intel out when called for. That doesn't mean an effort won't be made.

Like I said, wait and see. I see incompetence more than malice, but history makes me wary.

I'd advise you to find better reviewers.

That's not to say that buying reviewers is not an issue, but the best way to fight it is to stop giving shills of any type credibility and air time.

Literally hired not bribed. After shrout got caught red handed he ended up working for Intel.

Anand tpu gn and sth are my mainstays. Not sure where I would go from there...

Yeah, I hear you. It's hard wanting a decent review but we have to keep supporting those that do it right.

Edited, potentially after thumbsup:
I actually am looking forward to alders lake and hope it brings competition... just don't like any shady business.... be it Intel paying Shrout research for SSD reviews, Chiller hyperclocked cpu, Zen2 Turbo clocks or Nvidia review guides.

I tend to believe that leaks of 12400 beating 5600X is from shills testing with the broken for AMD scheduler. Intel will try hard to get many preorders before the official launch and the reviews from the proven to be independent tech sites either way.

somehow i still believe that there's unwritten relation that windows will act much better on intel based than AMD, maybe this time too

Imagine if we had a perfectly working software from even its first build? While this can work only on a theoretical level that has no practical use to us, I continue to hate M$ for their cheap and sloppy implementation of pretty much everything that they make.

I mean, nobody is perfect but does this mean that they should be THAT sloppy? Sadly, yes. And the root cause is that apart from a few (relative to numbers in the entire user base) geeks in the forums, Joe and Jane have zero clue what a cache is, let alone what $L3 is, or God forbid - that it's botched by M$. Regular folks are force fed whatever dung-ridden software M$ decide to, sadly not too tech-savvy to realize it.

The only OS that doesnt force feed the way it works is built for advanced users only. Its called Linux.

Its a choice of evils... if you are casual user you get force fed. If you're not you spend a lot of time avoiding those meals.

Its the same as going for McDonalds or cooking your own meals.
