G.SKILL, is delighted to announce yet another extreme speed DDR5 memory kit at DDR5-6800 32 GB (2x 16 GB), designed for the latest 12th Gen Intel Core desktop processors and Intel Z690 chipset motherboards. Thus far, this is the world's fastest DDR5 memory kit to reach such a high frequency speed and raise DDR5-enabled system performance to new heights.

In the never-ending quest for memory performance, G.SKILL is excited to reveal the latest additions of ultra-high frequency DDR5 memory to the flagship Trident Z5 family. Reaching an astonishing memory frequency of DDR5-6800, these two upper echelon memory specifications are the ultimate memory choice for gamers, enthusiast, and overclockers.

Supports Intel XMP 3.0 Extreme Memory Profile

Just set and go. The latest G.SKILL overclocking DDR5 memory kits are programmed with the latest Intel XMP 3.0 profiles, the only thing between you and extreme memory performance is a simple setting. Additionally, XMP 3.0 enables two customizable user-defined profiles to be saved in the memory module via BIOS on supported motherboards, so your fine-tuned memory settings go wherever the modules go.

I don't even want to venture a guess as to what these will cost.

I'd be amazed if you saw any change from $600
I'm still wondering if getting G.Skill's 3800CL14 kit would actually make you go faster for cheaper, hopefully someone still has that kit (or similar) on hands to test

I have their 3800/14 kit. Running at 4000/14 with tighter timings and lower voltage than their 4000/14 kit, but higher voltages than the XMP 3800/14.

It's basically the best memory kit you can buy for Ryzen 5000 imo.

Are these actually 6800 MHz or really 3400 MHz and 6800 MT/s?

I wish they wouldn't state 2 x the MHz so.

Hi,
Dram frequency is always x2 from what cpu-z shows this is nothing new

That's not correct, the frequency is the same, it just transfers twice per clock cycle.

Marketing should not state MHz for the number that is 2x larger than the clock speed. It's MT/s or just don't state a unit of measure, just a designation (name), so it's just (in this case) "DDR5-6800".

We need those 8000 MHz modules with tighter timings and cheaper price...

8000 MT/s you mean? :laugh::D
