Although, not one of my favourite programs, Skype is considered a high priority software application. The latest 3.5.0.239 release, is now available for download and it fixes some major bugs:
  • bugfix: Links with invalid % encodings were executed
  • bugfix: Data execution protection may have crashed Skype
  • bugfix: Pressing escape did not end call
  • Security improvements to ensure it is no longer possible to shut down Skype from a web page

Namslas will be downloading this ;)

Actually, had the beta version last week(tester). Most of those others issues were easy fixes(I have freinds that live under rocks). Skype is still the better of the Im's/Voip's available, just most people's rig can't handle running it.(until they learn to turn off the universal hosting option).

:toast:

I havent tried any of the VoIPs but Im leaning towards either At&ts call vantage (cause its my dsl and local service provider now) or the orange company that Verizon got mad at. What are they called again?

Vonage. Be carefull, most VOIP systems are not compatable with Emergency Services like 911 etc. Most security alarms will not work with most VOIP systems.
