Antec Announces Dark Phantom DP31 Micro-ATX Chassis

Antec Inc., a leading provider of high-performance computer components and accessories for the gaming, PC upgrade and Do-It-Yourself market, presents the latest Micro-ATX case of the Dark Phantom Series: the DP31. The chassis features both visual and functional highlights such as distinct claw-shaped air intakes and ARGB strips for striking looks. The DP31 provides the best building experience with its small yet powerful body structure. It's the best choice for gamers who favor small cases and ARGB showcases. The case is now commercially available from 59€ (suggested retail price including VAT).

The new Antec case measures 378 x 212 x 398 mm (DxWxH) and is compatible with Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards. In terms of fan support, the case accommodates two 120 mm in the front, two 120 mm / two 140 mm fans on top as well as one 120 mm fan in the rear (preinstalled). The magnetic tempered glass side panel allows for an easy as well as satisfying build experience, while the screw-free design and steel covers keep the case sturdy. Six motherboard fixings are pre-installed to make the installation more convenient.



For extra water-cooling, the DP31 can accommodate a 240 mm radiator in the front and a 120 mm radiator in the rear. The case offers two convertible 3.5" HDD drive cages (convertible to 1x SSD), one 2.5" SSD mounting space as well as four expansion slots. The DP31 has remarkable GPU space of 275 mm with front fan or 300 mm without front fan. The DP31 supports high-end air coolers with a maximum CPU Cooler Height of 150 mm and power supplies with a length of 175 mm with HDD or 300 mm without HDD.

The I/O panel features Power and LED control button, two USB 2.0, one USB 3.0 and Mic / HD Audio jacks.

IMHO, they should do US a favor & just die, completely, as 99.99% of their products are bottom-of-the-barrel, no-design-effort-whatsoever crapola that offers absolutely nuthin new, exciting, different, or otherwise worth buying anyways.....

once again another case that tries to be small yet continues to use a ATX sized PSU. Why not SFX? You could cut a noticeable amount of height off the case and give it something unique as a selling point. Instead its more plain EGB garbage.

These cases must have an audience somewhere because Antec keeps releasing these mediocre cases with nothing unique.

60 EUR looks a lot to me, but I guess the hinged door with magnetic closure is upping the price. Front fits 2x140, which is nowhere to be shown. It has radiator support on the front mainly. Back is 120 mil, but looking at how close the door is, I kinda doubt you will be able to close if you install an AIO on the rear.

EDIT: I stand corrected for water use, on newegg, someone already posted a water setup in this case.
