Intel H670, B660, and H610 Chipset Features Leaked

the cost goes to pcb materials (signal integrity), not the physical slots.

Got an article coming, you'd be surprised what's the most costly part for these new boards.

The performance difference is so negligible that you buy what you think looks the best in your case.

Z690 boards will always look better with RGBs and large heatsinks. You think people buy $600+ boards on performance and value? They buy it because it looks better and some features like 10gbps internet they probably will never use.

If you're going for budget build with Intel H or B series motherboard, it is just wiser to buy a pre-built with DDR5 and the GPU that you want for much less money, because looks and extra features don't matter as much to consumers on a budget.

Budget build w/ DDR5 .... not likely to happen anytime soon.

H670 and B660 both look good, H670 better for the higher chipset bandwidth, B660 is good if you dont have many expansion cards/devices. H610 is garbage as always and will be found in garbage systems running pentiums and celerons.

A H670 with a 12700F and 4000 mhz will be a killer setup
There is now talk about H670 is not coming out for the time being and maybe not at all?

Well apparently Intel has held back the H670 motherboards but I have seen 2 available . Both are Asus . Not sure why but ..... ?
Overclocking of the 12400 with debauer, now that is cool !
If it could be done on a cheaper motherboard then I would be interested!

Needs to be a top tier board with a dedicated Bclk generator
