Intel over the weekend stated that it has resolved the game DRM compatibility issues its 12th Gen Core "Alder Lake" processors were facing with certain games running on older versions of the Denuvo DRM solution. The company said that it has worked with both game developers and Microsoft, to address the issues. Gamers should look forward to OS updates as well as game patches, in the coming days. In was revealed back in October 2021, in the run up to the Core "Alder Lake" debut, that the processors face severe compatibility issues with games that use certain older versions of DRM solutions, due mainly to the processor's new hybrid CPU core architecture.

Now they need to resolve another problem. Selling a $600 CPU with a heatsink that doesn't even have heatpipes, effectively sabotaging years of work and billions of dollars of development by causing permathrottle under load. Intel should ditch the trash heatsink and pass on the savings on, because that hockey puck rgb isn't a valid solution. Gas is being burned to deliver trash that will never be used.

Denuvo drm. Making your pc run like a moped since whenever.

At least they were relatively quick. Let's hope they can also quickly resolve driver issues when  their dGPU's come out.

Strongly disagree. RS1 cooler looks like a puck, this one (RH1) looks like a badminton ball.
But seriously it's a shame Intel didn't use this 12900 non-K cooler on the 12700 and maybe even on the 12600.

What are you talking about? Not a one of their K chips ship with that cooler, much less their flagship model.
