The leading global motherboard, graphics card, and mini PC manufacturer, ASRock, today announces to join the era of metaverse and support the designer and creator community. ASRock issues the first non-fungible token (NFT), Phantom Gaming EVO on OpenSea, the world's first and largest NFT marketplace. ASRock Phantom Gaming EVO is a crypto art, a short footage of the evolution Phantom Gaming logo. ASRock plans to release 100 pieces of Phantom Gaming EVO. The first 30 pieces are sold on January 28th and priced at 0.1 ETH each.

As digital experiences continue to evolve and attract increasing amounts of people's attention, the launch of the Phantom Gaming EVO leads ASRock to embrace the era of the metaverse. By leveraging the new technology and design, the NFT delivers the next generation collectibles for preservation. This helps ASRock to serve and connect the community closely and extend the digital footprint to the new stage.

With the step of issuing the NFT to enter the metaverse and serve the community, a part of the revenue of the NFT issued by ASRock will be invested into the "ASRock NFT Fund" project which is designed to provide opportunities and support to creators, designers, and artists in various fields. Their talents will be revealed and get better career prospects and job satisfaction through this program. As well as, it encourages people to learn more about the world of PC and gaming.

The detail of "ASRock NFT Fund" project will be released on ASRock website soon, and kindly waited. For more information of Phantom Gaming EVO, please visit: https://opensea.io/ASRock_Incorporation

0.1 ETH is nearly $250. A fool and his money are soon parted.

There AsRock, fixed it for ya.

/me crosses ASRock off his potential upgrades list.

And despite making thousnds of dollars off of JPEGs of monkeys they'll still find a reason to increase motherboard prices.

another brand to be axed from existence.

Imagine working at asrock and being able to write this utter horseshit with any semblence of a conscience.

yikes.

NFT's.

Just
Fuck
Right

I'll even take a warning for bad language. As in, my language wasn't bad enough.

It would be hilarious if it didnt ooze sadness. Wow.

Anyone with me when I say a tech company releasing NFTs is not newsworthy on a tech site?
It's about as interesting as informing us they updated their marketing flyers.

See I thought about that, but felt that consumers needed to know what the companies they support are up to- good or bad.
To that I answer it's neither good, nor bad. Just irrelevant.
But let's see what others think, my question was genuine, not sarcastic.

and they said NFT was dead..:shadedshu:

LoL I don't even want a trashy 55MB advertisement clip on my computer, let alone paying 250usd for it.

You're not looking at the problem form the right angle. Think of it like this: if you've already paid $250 for it, would you admit it was a poor investment? It's just like buying an iPhone at MSRP :D

I literally do not understand anything from this article. Yeah, NFT's are not for my brain.

It lets me know what companies to avoid so it is useful information in that regard.

Well, this makes Asrock permanent member of shit list

I get that. I don't really get them either. However as I said on the biostar article, I do not really understand the hatred towards them either. This is just the board makers grifting the crypto community (or trying to anyways) for easy money... I'd think you guys would love that?

Remember, you don't mine NFTs. They don't contribute to the hardware shortage.

I really don't get TPU some days...
