Not all hacking is bad, or that's at least what the hacker "Deviant Ollam" wants us to think. His "Traveling Terabyte" project takes an ordinary hard drive, adds a large volume of music, videos, and other content to it, sends it overseas with USB cables and international power adapters in a standard Pelican case, and asks soldiers to add their own content before sending it to another soldier. Soldiers who have received the kits thus-far have loved the idea, especially considering that digital content is little and far between in the middle of the desert. There is no word as to whether or not the digital content is legal.

Cool....how much of that Terabyte is porn? Jokes aside...interesting to see if anyone is going to file a lawsuit.

I saw this hands-on at Defcon this year. I thought it was a really cool Idea.

they are troops fighting for us - right or wrong, they deserve to have the best pirated stuff money can buy!

Yeah if only they could pirate some of the best equipment for them too.:)I only hope that enough security is in place to stop any booby-traps from getting through,as that is the first thing that came to mind when reading about sending a standard Pelican case from troop to troop.

Thats pretty good idea. good to see that someone is giving back.

nice to know the scum of the digital world does alot of good out there.

Nice to see. But I hope its legal for the troops sakes. UCMJ doesn't care about morale just legality.

Anyone else notice the Tabasco bottle in the fore ground. ROFL It's what makes any military food better!

I saw this a while ago, I was gonna post it, but kinda forgot... I had a porn popup.
