The upcoming NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1630 has recently seen it's launch date slip from June 15th after NVIDIA allegedly struggled to secure the necessary components with a leaked embargo letter stating that the new date is still to be determined. The GTX 1630 Go To Market Kit has already been provided to board partners as of May 31st with custom cards already in production and final validation with the packaging designs also confirmed. These delays come alongside slips to the RTX 4000 series launch timeline which has seen card availability dates slip by one month for the RTX 4090, 4080, and 4070 with the RTX 4090 now expected to be available in September 2022 with the other two cards launching in the subsequent months. The new target launch dates are not currently certain with the possibility for further delays or revisions.

The previous launch date according to the source that you quoted was 15th of june for 1630 not 13th of August, maybe you are referring to 4090 slip?

They need to sell all 30x0 stocks.
ETH and BTC going down today 20%.
eth will soon be a nonfactor with the transition to PoS and BTC already is.

That means we must not let them clean those stocks. Just let them gather dust and compete with second market and the miners at a later date for a much lower msrp, 3080 or even a 70 Ti that is being replaced by a 4060 going for $299 at some point later this year.
Rejoice.. But Eth may rebound though, and there are conflicting news all the time, transition and non transition to Pos, pushed back and pushed ahead. so in the end they cancel each other out and we get the final news when we get it.

I am just sitting with my popcorn watching the bloodbath that will be EU sales of GPUs in the coming months since here all e-tailers are still price gauging and building inventories like mad thinking they will sell everything above MSRP. Let's see how well that goes for them once next gen is on the horizon.

Nvidia always releases the main batch of GPUs in September the rumor of July release was a nothing burger, because the main release are booked for the quarter ending in New years and coincide with Christmas which the most active shopping season of the year in North America and Europe. except during the crypto hysteria in the last couple years

Yeh, i want a Asus ROG Strix RTX 3070 myself (deshroud reasons), but that thing still costs €830 in the Netherlands.. **** that, they can choke on it.

I'm utterly shocked by this news....

Said absolutely NOBODY :D

Why should the release new cards while there are still soooo many of the older cards still being sold at scalpers/hoarder prices....which translates into moar profit for them, while they ride out the slow but steady retreat back to somewhat "normal" prices on them, as well as the softening of the parts shortages, by which time the back-to-school, black friday and holiday shopping barrage will be upon us.

That will be their perfect opportunity to release the new cards, at way higher prices than the Gen 3xx cards, and start scarfing up all our $$ all over again....

lol, people keep saying that for years. ETH going pos is like Star Citizen getting a release date.

Meh. I'm skeptical as anyone, but this should be a coded timebomb, and down to math now.

[...] (3070 Ti) replaced by a 4060 going for $299 at some point later this year.
Depending on how Intel's Alchemist GPUs impact the market and how RDN3 performs, I wouldn't put it past NVIDIA to price the XX60 at $399 MSRP.
We will see, then it happens.

On a sidenote: ETH going PoS is an ongoing process since 2017 and Ethereum 2.0 the Merge is being delayed from quarter to quarter for 2 years now, despite everything supposedly running as “planned”.
Again, we will see, then it happens.

Before or after Year of the Linux Desktop?
