TikTok's Parent Company ByteDance Starts Developing Custom Processors

And who own social ? Just exclude any CN, US or RU "social" compagny it will be easier
I do stay clear of social media in general. Signal though is not social media, its communication - peer to peer and data is kept locally. A much better principle.

The point is, what applications guarantee your data ownership? Use those where you have the choice. Avoid any others. If you can't control it, you don't own it, and you're ready to be manipulated. That goes for purchases of products too versus memberships of services. The latter might be cheaper, but you have nothing, only access to a service (subject to change) with an expiry date and no rights.

reminder that search engines, emails, web pages, browsers can be as bad if not worst then social media, especially TT where the amount of data they have acess is very limited in comparison. And there is still MS and Windows.

For anyone that cares, stuff like duckduckgo, firefox with limited cookies or no cookies at all, linux goes a long way

reverse polish notation things that weren't that advanced.
RPN calcs of the 80s were basically full blown 8-bit scriptable computers. I still have one and very much miss my old HP-41CX. I'd say you take that right back, Mister.

There is nothing inherently inferior about RPN notation. It's actually superior for LOTS of things.

i admit my knowledge of TT isn't much, but for the way it is designed the kind of data they have on you is much less relevant then what FB or GOOG have.

TT is not banned in China, what are you talking about?
Read the wiki page. You are horribly uninformed saying this.

These custom processors are likely to be used to enhance their typical technological social media features. If you have seen how Social Media does to users, this is what I'm talking about.
