I'm just curious has anyone shifted to a "light weight" mouse for gaming and seen any benefits in gaming experience?

I haven't really looked into all this light weight business but i cant see why something lighter than my usual mouse would benefit

The rage about a decade ago were mice with optional weights you could add for a better "feel". I wonder how long until trackballs come back with some new marketing spin (and no, not the ones for your thumb).

so the craze and added premium is based on better "feel"? nah i'll give that a miss. I actually like my current selection of mice... none are based on these ultra light weight ones and all of them "feel" fantastic

If you mean much easier mouse control because of less inertia, less friction and less effort needed to move/stop the mouse, then it's certainly a "feel".
