Popular American PC parts retailer Newegg just made the store pages of Intel 13th Gen Core "Raptor Lake" desktop processors public. You can't add these to cart and order just yet, but can set up an "auto-notify" for when you can buy. The six processor SKUs Intel is expected to launch today have been leaked. The i9-13900K flagship is priced at $659, the i9-13900KF (no iGPU) goes for $629; the i7-13700K at $449, the i7-13700KF at $429; the i5-13600K at $329, and the i5-13600KF at $309. The store pages also give away clock speeds. The i9-13900K/KF ticks at 3.00 GHz base, the i7-13700K/KF at 3.40 GHz base, and the i5-13600K/KF at 3.50 GHz base. The store didn't put out boost clocks.

Intel 13th Gen Raptor Lake CPU Prices Leak Out, Core i9-13900K Starting at $630 US, Core i7-13700K For $430 US, Core i5-13600K For $309 US (wccftech.com)

AMD getting intel and Intel getting AMD :)

Just a simple marry-GO-round :D

Intel doing what AMD did with Ryzen 3xxx pricing while AMD is doing what Intel did since forever. XD

Those are actually competitive prices, especially with cheaper motherboards.
Though given the strength of USD, which begs the question what the hell was nVidia thinking.

suspicious prices..

if performance better than current ryzen, what a good deal.. or vice versa ?

first time I guest, intel price lower than AMD for new launch since ryzen came out.

So the Amazon UK pricing leak was correct then.

Damage control.

I always said when AMD launched Zen 1 that the company would incrise price bit by bit until levels up with Intel or surpass tham. Only took some market share and voilá.

These prices are what the 12th gen intel CPU's cost here in EUROS at the moment...

It doesn't take being a master mathematician or a wizard with a crystal ball to expect what will happen to the 7600X and 7700X come i5 and i7 Raptor Lake.
Who knows, maybe we will get to see a mild AMD price drop.... nah. Zen4 does not remain bullet proof in this messy launch.

It was expected, i don't even know how many times i said it in the past speculating specific 1K unit pricing and i was attacked because the leaks was saying up to 20% increase for Intel.
It's incomprehensible how AMD is going to be able to sell 7600X/7700X/7900X? at these prices (even 13900KF is -10% vs 7950X and unless you buying above 6900XT/3080Ti class, $70/$50 will certainly help you upgrade to the next GPU level (for example RX6800XT has only $50 difference with RX6800, 3080 12GB only $50 difference with 3080 10GB etc.) but 7950X will sell to AMD's audience/enthusiasts anyway and in any case for the total platform cost regarding flagships, $50-$70 won't be the deciding factor...
13600K/13600KF will probably be up to 15% faster vs 7700X in some rendering and Video encoding multithreading apps and in gaming at least at the same level and probably faster while being $70-$100 cheaper (i think we will have $299 13600KF offers) and also 13700K/KF just slightly slower than 7900X in Rendering or Video encoding multithreading apps and faster in Gaming, while being $100-$120 cheaper, just in another pricing class really...($120 is 3080Ti 12GB - 3080 10GB street price difference!)
All these without even touching the 600 series motherboard pricing and the DDR4 options.
7600X seems DOA at $299 irrespective from Intel options, the platform cost for AM5 is so high right now, that the vast majority of AM5 buyers will probably choose the other Zen4 options (but if we ever have B650 motherboards at $125 even if they don't support Gen 5 SSD & GPU, and sane DDR5 pricing, at least then 7600X will have meaning for AMD fans wanting to invest in AM5 platform)
At least AM4 platform in Europe has from time to time some excellent offers like Ryzen 5500 & 5600 starting at 109€ & 149€ respectively!

Remember guys, for gaming all you need is a Non-K model.

Did that in the past but regret it... From now on only K CPU's , even just for the higher stock clocks.
Always nice to know I can eventually OC it when I want it.

What I wouldn't buy is a CPU without iGPU.

Remember to check for electricity prices. Intel usually gets around 100w higher power comsumption under load, and that means around 36€/year with current electricity prices if using the PC for 5 hours a day. Depending on how you use the PC and how many hours you're using it, it could easily mean you end up paying more after some years...

13700K(F) looks almost like a bargain, an improved 12900K at this price. Unfortunately everything in Europe is becoming pricier, but EU is busy sleeping...

Waiting/curious to see how the 13400 will perform and the actual price where I live, 12400 or 13400 is my only possible upgrade I will be interested in at some point. 'not anytime soon tho, for now the little 12100 does everything I need it for'

especially with cheaper motherboards.
no such thing now, as the new so-called "entry level" intel boards are starting at $330 :( :(

At least according the PR that was posted here yesterday anyways...

Fully featured B660 motherboards are 120-150 USD. Where did you get that from?
Even quality DDR5 boards like the MSI Z690 PRO-A is like 160 bucks is all. LGA1700's entry situation is currently better. Maybe in 2-3 months that would change with B650 from AMD.

Unless you are pushing 240+ FPS that extra few MHz makes literally no difference, you will be GPU bound 99% of the time.

iGPU LMFAO

Zen4 isn't all that faster than ADL, performance shouldn't be hard to beat. But it depends at what TDP.

Pricing is ok(ish), but we used to be able to buy a x600 chip for $200-250. Now it's almost $100 more expensive :( On the other hand, Intel's top CPU used to be $999...

No it doesnt. 7950x draws 230w, same as 12900 and 13900 at full load.
