AMD Discounts the Ryzen 5000-series on its Official US Web Store, Ryzen 7 5800X3D Goes for US$329

AMD has dropped the price on most of its Ryzen 5000-series CPUs on its official web store and some models have been discounted by as much as US$250 over the MSRP. However, the most interesting discount here might be the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, which has been discounted from US$449 to US$329, which makes it a pretty good deal for anyone considering getting what is one of the best CPUs out there for gaming.

Unfortunately, AMD's discounted deal appears to have been very popular and as such the Ryzen 7 5800X3D is currently sold out. It's unclear if AMD will add more stock at the same price point, but what is clear is that the Ryzen 7 5800X3D is a popular CPU, especially at what now appears to be the right price point. As mentioned, AMD has discounted its entire lineup of Ryzen 5000-series CPUs, so if you've been on the fence whether to upgrade or not, now might be a good time to do so. That said, most online retailers appear to be offering the same CPUs at the same, or at least almost the same price, making the Ryzen 7 5800X3D the only real bargain to be had, if it comes back in stock. Unfortunately, AMD hasn't discounted its CPUs in other regions, so if you're outside of the US, you're not going to see any special deals if you visit the AMD web store.

Still no sign of any discounts locally may have grabbed a 5800X3D if I was still heavy into gaming.

I am betting next GEN consoles will be getting 3D V-Cache has standard?

That's not direct from AMD's web store in the UK though, which was my point at the end.

We have seen some nice price cuts a week ago also here in Greece, 5800X3D included. Many rush to upgrade their older Zen systems or build a new one. Only 5950X hasn't seen a price drop.

Well I am so happy with my 5900OEM a few months when they came out. IMHO if you can pick up a 5800X or a 5900X and undervolted and get great performance per watt in the process. I'm not sure about the X3d though.

But again I am very very happy with my 5900OEM and if AMD made efficient low voltage CPU's instead of those nice little hot boxes of wattage hogs that they have now. I just might buy one in the near future.
 
All 5000 series are cheaper at Newegg right now. Even the recently released Ryzen 4500 dropped in price to $79. AMD also recently released the Ryzen 4100 which should probably be down to $49 if you can find it at that price.

AMD web shop wouldn't be my first choice to go shopping, they barely have anything in stock most of the time.
I'm just pointing out that there are similar deals elsewhere with stock on hand.

What mean from amazon's warehouse? You must have amazon in your country like Germany, Italy and etc.?
 
The 5800X3D Still goes for about 460 $ where I live, the only AM 4 CPU that got cheaper recently is the 5600 non X for ~ 150 $.

But, I'll need a new GPU too otherwise I won't be seeing much of them shiny V-Cache FPS boosts.

Microcenter still has it above that price, surprisingly. Maybe they will mark it down today once the local store opens. They have 25+ in stock, but you can't reserve one for pickup, you have to walk in and buy it. Either way, it might be one of the Black Friday deals to be watching for.
 
So, the REAL intial MSRP price of $329 for this chip has finally been revealed, huh, Su? So, the TRUE discounted price today should be ~$199-229, as expected.

Gotta love those fanatics' defenders, huh? :kookoo:

What accusation are you making? That AMD sold a product for a profit? That they sold the previously fastest gaming CPU for $450 while the 12900K it was competing with was more expensive? I'm confused as to what your claim is...
 
Zen4 officially RIP (or at least put on cryo) by AMD themselves. Fantastic.
